Offering an outdoor pool, Aloft Tampa Downtown hotel is located along the Hillsborough River and is approximately less than one mile from the Tampa Museum of Art. Features include a restaurant and rooms with free WiFi. A flat-screen cable TV, desk, and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room at this Downtown Tampa Aloft.

Selected suites have a balcony, river view, and sofa bed. A fitness center, business center, and reception that offers free luggage storage are on site. A shared lounge is available to Aloft Tampa Downtown guests as well. Re: Fuel, the snack bar, is open 24 hours.

Guests can also mingle in the W XYZ® bar (Open Mon-Fri from 3PM to 11PM, Sat 12PM to 12AM, closed on Sundays) for dinner through the late evening for cocktails and small plates. The University of Tampa and Plant Park are within a five-minute walk. The hotel is approximately half a mile from the Amalie Arena and approximately five miles from the Tampa International Airport.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome up to 2 (dogs/cats only) per room. Hotel does not charge a pet fee. Maximum weight of pets allowed is 40 pounds. Please notify the hotel prior to the arrival date if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.

Worst experience ever at this location. My husband and I have been titanium members since 2024 and we have never had any issues prior to this stay. We were placed in a room with no working AC. We called the front desk, were brought a fan, and were told to go back tomorrow morning for a room switch. We did just that and were rudely told by some lady at the front there were no available rooms for the night. After my husband asked if there was anything she could do, she said that she would award my husband 10,000 points and allow for late checkout for the inconvenience. It was literally impossible to be in the room with it being so hot, so we went back around 7pm when someone else was working and they gave us a new room. The new rooms AC did not work. Literally ridiculous. My husband had to go back to the old room to take the fan. The worst part - when we checked out the next employee at the front told us that we weren’t awarded points or late checkout. Absolutely ridiculous. Won’t be staying at this location anymore. Very disappointed with the staff.

"Great value for your money with this minimalist place."

This hotel was a fun hotel to stay in. The location was great. The rooms were minimal but clean and quiet. They had free breakfast that I did not partake in so I cant really tell you anything other than they had it. The service was good. And the valet guys knew how to maneuver all the vehicles with the small space they have to work with. Oh and let’s not forget the nightlife with the pool table and the pool!

"Not worth the price or hassle"

Can’t believe I paid that much for a room smaller than my bathroom at home…literally! Front desk staff were clueless - asked about an info or visitor center and I got the “ I dunno”. Yet there was a visitor not more than 2 blocks away. Wanted to buy a beer from the concessions and was told they can’t sell it as long as the bar is open…WTH?! All I’m saying folks is find a better place to stay. This millennial place is not worth it one bit.

Aloft was amazing! From the moment Mia from valet welcomed us, we knew it was going to be a wonderful weekend. The hotel is extremely clean and has such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a fantastic experience! 😊

"Clean and Convenient"

My wife and I spent 3 nights here while attending a wedding. We stayed on the 5th floor, overlooking the pool and River walk. This hotel was perfect for our needs. A convenient location right in the heart of the downtown area. The pool has a nice, trendy bar area and the hotel is a short walk to many restaurants and coffee shops. Manny at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Aloft.
