AC Hotel by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista

We stayed at the AC Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista for five nights during the holiday season and were genuinely impressed. If you're looking for a modern, clean, well-located hotel near Disney without the chaos of the big resort properties, this is it. First, the location is excellent. We were about 10 minutes from Disney Springs and the theme parks, right off Vineland Road. There's a Publix and plenty of restaurants within a very short drive, which ws perfect for our family. The I-4 access is easy, and getting to Universal or SeaWorld took about 20 minutes with normal traffic. The rooms have a distinctly European, minimalit design that we really appreciated. Everything felt new and clean — the beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was modern with great water pressure, and the room had a very quiet atmosphere even though w were on a lower floor. For families, the rooms are on the smaller side compared to a typical American hotel, but the smart layout makes good use of every square foot. We had a king room with a pullout sofa for our daughter, and it worked perfectly. The rooftop bar and pool areais the real standout feature here. After long days at the parks, coming back to that rooftop ool with the Orlando skyline view was incredible. The kids loved the pool and we loved being able to sit t the bar with a cocktail while watching them swim. It felt like a boutique hotel experience at a fraction of what you'd pay at a Disney resort. The AC Lounge on the ground floor has an excellent breakfast selection — not a buffet, but a curated European-style pread with quality pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and good coffee. You can also get hot items. It's included in some rate plans, and even when it's not, it's reasonably priced. The evening tapas and coktails are also worth trying. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Front desk gave us great restaurant recommendations and even helped us arrange an early park entry strategy. Housekeeping was thorough and prompt. Compared to staying at a Disney resort, we saved roughly $150-200 per night and honestly didn't feel like we sacrificed anything in terms of quality.We didn't need the Disney buses since we had a rental car, and the money we saved went toward extra experiences at the parks. For families who are comfortable driving, this is a much smarter financial choice. The only minor note: the hotel doesn't have a full restaurant for dinner, just the lounge menu. But with so many great options within a few minutes' drive (including Disney Springs), this was never an issue for us. We'll definitely be coming back to the AC Hotel on our next Orlando trip. The combination of modern comfort, great location, the rooftop pool, and the price point makes it a standout option for families visiting the theme parks.

Nice stay. Clean hotel, great staff, good breakfast, comfy beds and spacious rooms. Near everything with good transportation

The room was very clean. It is a newer hotel and has been well maintained. The reason I am giving a 2 out of 5 is because there was a very loud rattling noise, likely from the heater, around 3 a.m. that woke us up and did not stop. The location is central, but the hotel is next to a very loud street.
