Each October, the Grand Strand transforms into a spooky seaside haunt. With various haunted houses, terrifying events, and not-so-scary parties for the little ones, there’s nothing better than a Myrtle Beach Halloween.

If you find yourself in the Grand Strand this fall, take advantage of these Myrtle Beach Halloween events for the ultimate scare!

Ghost Tours and Dinner at the Brentwood Restaurant

Where: The Brentwood Restaurant - 4269 Luck Avenue, Little River, SC 29566

When: October 31, 2019 at 5:00, 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 pm.

The Brentwood Restaurant is known for its abundance of spooky happenings. From ghost sightings to unexplainable occurrences, there’s no doubt about it; this restaurant is haunted. You can experience the hauntings for yourself on the Ghost Dinner & Tour. The entire experience includes a delicious dinner along with dessert and a 45-minute, bone-chilling tour. Reservations are required and these tours will sell out.

Halloween on the Marshwalk

Where: Murrells Inlet Marshwalk - 4025 Hwy 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

When: October 31, 2019 at 5:00 pm

The Murrells Inlet Marshwalk knows how to celebrate a Myrtle Beach Halloween! This family-friendly festival includes trick-or-treating for the kids, a costume contest for kids and adults, and more. Halloween on the Marshwalk is ideal for families with children of all ages. While strolling around the Marshwalk, pop into any of the local businesses or restaurants for even more Halloween fun.

Surfside Beach Halloween Car Show

Where: Surfside Beach Pier

When: TBA

Each year, Surfside Beach Pier hosts a Halloween Car Show for automobile fanatics from around the world. In addition to classic and modern cars, the show hosts a Trunk or Treat event for the kids. Plus, there’s also a DJ, live music, and lots of food. Best of all, you won’t have to pay a fee to get in! The car show is free for all to attend.

Boardwalk Fright Nights

Where: Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

When: Friday and Saturday nights from dusk until Midnight

Looking for something a little more frightening? Well, if you happen to be strolling along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk on a weekend, you may run into some zombies! Boardwalk Fright Nights features “live zombies” outside Nightmare Haunted House. As night falls, the zombies come alive looking for their latest meal…which could be you!

Thompson Farm Corn Maze

Where: Thompson Farm & Nursery - 1625 Bucksville Drive, Conway, SC 29527

What Myrtle Beach Halloween is complete without conquering a corn maze? Visitors of all ages love putting their minds and teamwork to the test to wind their way through and intricately themed corn maze each fall. The Thompson Farm Corn Maze features old-fashioned, fall family fun all October long.

The corn maze is open from dusk until 10:00 pm each Friday for Flashlight Fridays. Guests can also visit the 6.5 acre farm on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sundays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Grand Strand Witches’ Night

Where: Murrells Inlet Marshwalk - 4025 Hwy 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

When: October 12, 2019, 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Each October, witches flock to the Grand Strand! This annual tradition brings together women from all over to celebrate the new season with food, spirits, and Halloween fun. The Grand Strand Witches’ Night community also raises money for local causes, nonprofits, and organizations. Of course, you have to dress up in your finest witch attire to participate.

BooFest! At Barefoot Landing

Where: Barefoot Landing - 4898 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

For not-so-spooky Halloween fun, bring the kids and pets to BooFest! at Barefoot Landing. Kids can participate in costume contests, arts and crafts, games, and more. Plus, Fido can join in the fun at the pets’ costume contest! Throughout this Myrtle Beach Halloween festival, you’ll find everything from face painting to balloon artists and more.

If you had fun at BooFest, return to Barefoot Landing on Halloween night for trick-or-treating, too.

Halloween Fireworks Extravaganza at Broadway at the Beach

Where: Broadway at the Beach - 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach SC 29577

Start your Myrtle Beach Halloween with a bang at Broadway at the Beach’s Halloween Fireworks Extravaganza. After you’ve collected all your candy for the night, find the perfect spot to watch this jaw-dropping fireworks show. Fireworks + candy = the best Halloween ever.

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at House of Blues

Where: House of Blues Myrtle Beach - 4640 Hwy. 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

When: Select nights in October

There’s been a murder and it’s your job to solve it! This classic Myrtle Beach “whodunnit” show features a tasty dinner, hilarious (and suspicious!) actors, and audience participation. Will you be able to solve this Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner? Note that the show starts promptly at 7 pm, so plan to arrive by 6:45 pm.

Atalaya Fall Festival & Haunted Castle

Where: Huntington Beach State Park

When: TBA

Head to Huntington Beach State Park for two frightfully fun evenings. The Atalaya Fall Festival features two haunted houses (one for the kids and one for the brave), carnival games, a bonfire, ghost stories, and more. Food and beverages are available for purchase throughout the event. Do note that the effects used in the Haunted Castle may be too terrifying for younger children. Parents are asked to use their discretion.

Halloween Saturday Bonfire

Where: La Belle Amie Vineyard

When: October 26, 2019, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Grab a bottle of wine, kick back, and relax in the gorgeous autumn weather at La Belle Amie Vineyard. To celebrate Halloween, the vineyard is hosting an afternoon bonfire. Admission is $7 per person or $5 if you bring 2 canned/dry good food items for the area food bank. Live music, wine tastings, and other entertainment are available, as well.

Howl-O-Scream at McLean Park

Where: North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex

When: October 26, 2019, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Celebrate a Myrtle Beach Halloween at Howl-O-Scream! The North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex transforms into a Halloween haunt with spooky and not-so-scary activities for all ages. To accommodate everyone, guests can choose between Scare Free and Scare Zones. Additional activities include marshmallow roasting, trick-or-treating, hayrides, and more. Also, admission is only $1-2.
