I have seen Thank You for the Music: A Modern Tribute to ABBA at Hamners’ Theater in Branson, Missouri four times and it gets better every time! I can’t wait to return to Branson next year so I can see it again. The first time I saw it was in 2019 along with my 8 year old great niece and my 83 year old mother. They both loved it. The singing and dancing are wonderful. The cast members are so talented. They are also very endearing. Like their other shows, they interact with the audience which results in a unique show each time. They also show videos of ABBA while they are performing, as well as provide ABBA trivia. They sing so many songs. Probably more than one would have heard at an actual ABBA concert. After the show, the cast members are available in the lobby for pictures and questions. I highly recommend seeing this show as well as the other shows at Hamners’. Look for my reviews of their other “tribute” shows.

Our first show as we began our stay in Branson and we were definitely entertained. It is pure song (a little dance) but had accompanying historical references on screen as songs were presented. No - they were not attempting to be the exact ABBA charaters - but they shared the best and some of the 'not-as-well-known' in the USA songs that made ABBA an integral part of the music scene. Talented people sharing the memories of the many. Worth the time to attend.
