This historical tour across the beautiful landscape he so vividly described is led by an Ozark-native guide.

Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama

Experience the nation’s longest-running outdoor drama! The Shepherd of the Hills is an action-packed live reenactment of Harold Bell Wright’s novel about life in the rugged Ozarks with themes of love, power and hardship. Over 90 actors and live animals perform on a stage the size of a football field. Pre-Show (add-on) includes a BBQ & Bluegrass Bash.
