"A basic low budget hotel"

Convenient location near to attractions. Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Rooms need a good airing to remove musty smell. Bathrooms need an extractor fan. I was there for a week and there was no room cleaning done. Build up of dust on most ledges, around edge of room, furniture legs etc needed. The room price was good. There's a shared microwave which was helpful. The breakfast menu is the same everyday. Theres a pool and tub which I enjoyed. The air con if very noisy in the room and when you are outside around the pool. Some traffic could be heard.

"Not Even a Shower Curtain"

A bad experience from the very start. Upon check-in were downgraded from an “Updated King Room” to a “Standard Queen Room. We were told the hotel was full so that’s all they had, and since we booked via AARP/Expedia they could/would not compensate us, unless-of-course we would attend the “It’s not a timeshare” timeshare presentation. The room they put us in was not ready for occupancy. The beds were made, but power was off to the TV and refrigerator, no hangers in the wardrobe, no washcloths, no plug for the sink, and not even a shower curtain. Requesting repairs through the front desk proved futile. We had much better success whining to the bartender who grabbed the night maintenance guy who rectified these issues. The AC unit in the room was old and noisy making it very hard to sleep. Far from being a resort, our accommodation was more in line with a Motel 6. Housekeeping is supposed to be “on request” but they repeatedly failed to makeup our room even when we requested it. We were there 7 days and only got housekeeping once.

"Well Used Property Needs Attention"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

I'd rate the stay as a 2. I base that upon the following: no housekeeping for a 4 night stay, and 2 requests for resupply of towels/coffee etc. on the same day. Breakfast was good, when it was kept hot. The parking situation, especially for unloading and loading, is poor, and at times unsafe, due to the hill and lack of good lighting in the back at night. Walkways around the lot need improvement. I can certainly understand updating that updating needs to be done and hadn’t, but when I see seniors and handicapped customers playing keep-away with the buses, I am concerned that attention isn't being paid to safety at the front door. It’s just an accident waiting to happen. Bathroom shower and vanity faucet leaked water to floor and vanity too, respectively. Shower curtain too narrow, wouldn’t stay shut, probably helped to cause water issue on floor. Staff were always nice however, but this property really needs attention.

"VERY DISAPPOINTED!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 21, 2025 NEW
The only reason we gave this hotel 1 star is because the people were friendly and those we met had nothing to do with the issues we found. We booked for two nights in what they called a "Top -Of-The-Town King Suite", one of their most expensive suites. 1 Mold found in the shower and behind the bathroom stool. 2 Huge water stain on the ceiling in the living room. 3 Return air vents were all dirty and in bad need of cleaning. 4 The two couches in the living were so uncomfortable you couldn't sit on them without putting a pillow behind your back. 5 The doors on the fridge were mounted backwards. 6 The THRH website shows this room with bottled water at the coffee station. No bottled water there and when asked about that we were told we had to pay extra for bottled water. False advertising! Very disappointing for the money we paid for this room. We will not be going back to this hotel!

"Avoid this hotel at all costs."
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 13, 2025 NEW
Avoid this hotel at all costs. The first room we were given had roaches on the wall. After waiting nearly 30 minutes just to check in, we were moved to another room that was still dirty, barely stocked, and had thick dust on the fan. The night staff tried, but the place is clearly understaffed and poorly managed. The morning manager couldn’t care less — no apology, no accountability, nothing. To top it off, they refused a late checkout after wasting our time getting a decent room. This hotel is tacky, unclean, and a terrible reflection of Branson. Tourists deserve better. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.
