Hyatt Place Orlando is located approximately just 10 minute's drive from Universal Studios Orlando and Disney theme parks are just around nine miles. Guests will be an estimated 9-minute drive from shopping at Orlando Premium Outlets, while Orange County Convention Center is approximately a 6-minute drive from the hotel.

This Orlando hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool, and free WiFi in all areas. Excellent hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. All willing to go the extra yard to ensure your stay exceeded expectations. This hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants, activities and the convention center. Clean, comfortable, large rooms ideal for longer stays.

Phenomenally kind, friendly, and helpful staff. 10/10 in terms of service and front desk treatment. Rooms were clean and in solid condition. Breakfast is simple but enough to get you started for your day at the parks. Location was good in terms of distance to Universal–though we were a bit confused that there was no shuttle to the parks, but the good news is that the ride-sharing platforms (as of writing this) stay around roughly $6 each way and the drivers are quite friendly, so–that worked ok. Great hotel if you're going to Universal's parks.

I stayed at Hyatt Place Orlando / I-Drive / Convention Center with my family in October. While there were some positives, several issues during our stay made the experience far more stressful than relaxing. Pros: The staff were friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The breakfast was decent with a good variety of options, and I appreciated being granted a late checkout — even though there were some complications with it later on. Cons: Unfortunately, the check-in process was long and tedious. Upon arrival, our room key card didn’t work and it took quite some time to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, the first room we were assigned had a strong musky odor. Since I was traveling with an infant, this was particularly inconvenient — we had to wait outside the room until the staff found a suitable replacement. Even after moving rooms, the key card issues continued throughout the stay. On the day of checkout, the keys stopped working after 11 AM despite the late checkout arrangement. The staff tried to fix it multiple times, but each attempt required me to go up and down between the front desk and the room — made worse by the slow elevators. Overall, while the staff’s friendliness was appreciated, the repeated key card malfunctions, slow service, and room assignment problems left a bad taste. I ended up spending more time dealing with logistics than enjoying time with my family.

My family and I stayed a this hotel in November 2024 and September 2025. During both stays the front desk staff, house keeping staff and staff assisting with food services during breakfast hours were friendly and professional. The housekeeping staff and manager made sure our room was clean, smelling fresh and provided enough towels for my family and I. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Orlando in the future.
