Easily the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Room smells like a wet dog when the ac stops blowing. I should have slept in my truck.

"Bad experience"

Definitely not what pictures make it out to be. Went for a wedding in Detroit, was not what we would want when getting ready. Room was cramped and quite ugly. No real closet. Ask about sqft, I think the room was much less than a normal suite. I might let it slide if it was cheaper, but we paid $150/night. Can get a nice Marriott hotel for a similar price point.

Great stay, friendly staff. Rooms were basic but clean, room service was attentive and check in/check out was very quick and easy. Close to downtown and was quiet the whole stay.

Trumbull and Porter is instantly recognizable as a unique experience when you walk in the door. Austin at the front desk was extremely friendly, and the decor of the lobby is easily something you could spend an hour enjoying on its own. The rooms carry this style forward with extremely comfortable beds, and I left the next morning feeling physically and mentally refreshed. Very different experience from a typical name brand hotel that I'll definitely check into again if I need!

I stayed at this hotel while attending a nearby event and had a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I also really appreciated the unique charm and character of the hotel—it truly stands out!
