More than just a place to stay, The Vendue is a living art gallery, featuring over 200 rotating pieces curated by Robert Lange Studios. Join a docent-led art tour, explore the biannual exhibits, or meet the artist-in-residence bringing the space to life.

Step outside, and you’re just a short stroll from iconic attractions like Waterfront Park, Rainbow Row, the Charleston City Market, and the historic Battery promenade. Gallery hop through vibrant exhibits or take a carriage ride down cobblestone streets—The Vendue puts you right where Charleston shines brightest.

Parking: Valet service is available for our overnight guests at a rate of $49 per night.
Pet Policy: The Vendue welcomes dogs with open arms—but only dogs. Unfortunately, feline, feathered, and other furry companions will need to stay home. A one-time pet fee of $120 includes two bowls, a mat, and a gourmet treat for your pup. Please notify the hotel directly prior to your arrival date if traveling with a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are limited.
Other Charges: A destination fee of USD 2.28 per night and a 3.27% service fee apply per accommodation.

"Bedbugs"

Bedbugs. I sent pictures to the hotel with many bites, hotel respond led saying they will get an inspection. Beware! They have not provided any help to make sure i don't bring them to my home, no reimbursement, unclear if they are taking the infestation seriously.

"Beautiful Hotel- Excellent Location-Stellar Customer Service"

I had a wonderful stay at The Enclave Charleston and would absolutely stay here again. The location is unbeatable. It’s steps from the park and the famous Pineapple Fountain, right near Magnolia Restaurant (which was phenomenal), and just minutes from City Market, Rainbow Row, and shopping on King Street. Everything I wanted to do was within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is modern, beautiful, and spotless. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. What truly sets The Enclave apart, though, is the staff. I’ve stayed at luxury properties like the Waldorf Astoria in NYC and the Ritz, and I can honestly say I did not receive the level of personalized, thoughtful service there that I experienced here. The team checks in via text to make sure everything is perfect, and the turndown service — complete with cookies and a fresh bag of ice — was such a thoughtful touch. It’s very clear that they genuinely care about providing a top-tier guest experience. I stayed from December 22–26, and every single employee I encountered went above and beyond. A special thank you to Tiana, who literally walked to another hotel to retrieve bandages for me when I desperately needed them. That level of care is rare. My only minor complaints are related to noise. The walls are thin, and as a very light sleeper, I could hear my neighbor snoring quite loudly, which made it difficult to sleep. My room was on the bottom floor, so there was also some noise from the wooden staircase and foot traffic, along with the sound of water dripping throughout the night, likely from pipes in the wall. The water pressure was also a bit on the lower side. The staff did kindly offer to move me, but I chose to stay put rather than inconvenience them. Despite those small issues, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The location, cleanliness, safety, and especially the exceptional staff make The Enclave a standout in Charleston. I highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

"Great location and comfortable rooms"

Great location in central Charleston. Easy walking to the main sites in town. Hotel was clean and comfortable. In room Keurig is nice but the morning breakfast box was a little sad with cold pastry and fruit that was a little beat up. Rooms are large and have plenty of space

After an initial hiccup with a delay to us accessing our room, with appropriate apologies, the rest of our stay at this hotel was amazing. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and super helpful. The hotel is incredible, with amazing art on the walls, and a wonderful rooftop bar. It is located ideally for exploring and though my wife has reduced mobility, we found it easy to get around. Would definitely recommend and don’t miss having a glass of champagne in the evening.

What a great stay. We visit Charleston often as we are only a few hours away. I’ve been to the rooftop bar often but never stayed at the hotel. The service was fantastic. Champagne at arrival. Took our bags to our room while we parked hot cocoa after our walk and pastries delivered to our room the next morning. Rooms were nicely done and the art was cool and it was festive for the holiday. The only thing they could add was a mini fridge but the manager graciously put our leftovers in the fridge. Location is perfect 2 blocks to city market. Would stay again !
