The recently renovated Swim & Social pool is located on the 8th floor. It features luxurious cabanas, comfortable daybeds, stylish chaise lounges, a fully stocked bar, and a restaurant with personalized climate control. The poolside area is perfect for a weekend party, with DJs, poolside games, and breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding area. kD was so accommodating. Our flight from Mexico had been changed and we randomly picked the stratosphere to stay at for Delta airlines and I'm glad we did! Katie gave us tickets to see the come and do so which we really needed because we needed a good laugh at that point. He got my husband a smoking loom so that he didn't have to go all the way down from the 22nd floor. Every time you wanted a cigarette and they even gave us that to us for dinner which we enjoyed in front of the restaurants, fireplace... An unexpected but great stay because of a great employee!

We’re currently staying here on a 5 night visit. We love the location ( slightly off the strip but we like that) it’s not as busy up this end which we like. The pool is lovely, but you have to buy all food and drink there which can be costly, as it’s not cheap. Great amenities, everything other hotels in the area has, and plenty of places outside the hotel to eat are reasonable prices. Down side, we paid for a room upgrade, we’re on floor 21 and our room absolutely sticks of cannabis, it sickeningly sticks. I know it’s legal here but I’m not sure it should smell this bad in here. Also the room is dated.

CRAP! Upon check in they wanted to charge me for extortionate resort fees which were NOT advertised on my booking. Then they tried to charge for a smoke alarm fee of $566 as supposedly the smoke detector went off. Despite the fact I WAS NOT IN MY ROOM! And I do NOT smoke. There were no candles or anything that produce smoke in my room. THEN upon check out the white gentlemen behind the counter was discriminatory and rude and dismissive. I openly stated I have a disability and he was severely dismissive and rude because of this. Overall my entire stay was unwelcoming and a case of discrimination. Never again.

Our stay at The STRAT did not meet our expectations, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. Upon arrival, our check-in experience was uncomfortable. From the moment we entered the hotel, a staff member repeatedly pressured us to accept promotional tickets, even after we politely declined multiple times. This felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Our initial room on the 21st floor had several issues, including a strong smoke odor, a non-functioning phone and clock, and a malfunctioning heating and air conditioning system. We requested a room change and were moved to a newly renovated room on the 8th floor, for which we were charged an additional fee of over $100. Unfortunately, that room also had problems, as both the sink and toilet were not functioning properly. Maintenance was called, and while addressing the issues, one of the technicians used my personal washcloth to wipe his sweat without permission. I witnessed this and addressed it immediately. This behavior was extremely inappropriate and unacceptable. We later spoke with two supervisors, Jason and Julio. Julio was professional and accommodating, and we appreciate his assistance. Unfortunately, Jason was not as patient or pleasant when handling our concerns. Despite the number of issues we experienced, we were also unable to receive a late checkout, which added to the inconvenience of our stay. While we were offered a $50 food voucher, we do not feel this adequately compensated for the multiple issues we experienced during our stay, particularly given the additional charge for the second room. Overall, this experience fell far below expectations, and we would not choose to stay here again.
