we was stranded ,as the rooms we had booked where horrible ,Regie at the Sandbar helped us get a room , we had been up for 30 hours after driving all night then finding our rooms at Bermuda Sands were so fitly and old horrible! also people fighting in the hall way we did not feel safe there. Regie at the Sand Bar gave us a great deal on the first night room 5204, not so much on the second night , but the room was very clean, ocean front, the only thing I saw that needed some attention was the dresser drawer was broking, the sliding glass door to the patio was very hard to open or close and they need a full glass mirror. but all the people were extra friendly and helpful.

Beds slept well, the Internet was spotty and there were roaches in my kitchen and bathroom. The hotel falsely advertised that they were on the beach. Only a portion of the hotel is on the beach the other portion is across the street from a walk way to the beach.

This hotel has an elevator that only works for the one secttion of the building. the 2nd section has No elevator and 3 floors to walk up with your luggage. The Ice machine is you will guess at the bottom where there is no elevator. The lazy river has only 2 tubes so the rest of us got no tubes.

On 7/13 I checked in to your hotel around 4pm. I headed to the beach and came back to actually go into our room 2110 around 6pm. Upon arrival there was a smell that resembled must and cigarettes. I inspected the room while my kids started to shower. I found white fuzzy mold spores through out the room as well as odd stains. There was mold all over the fabric edges of the bed. On the lamp shade, on the metal of the lamp shade, on the fabric of the dinning chairs. I went to the front desk for help. She was kind and helped get us another room as well as came up to 2110 for me to show her the mold. I inspected our new room 1121. While run down and shredded curtains and dog hair, I didn’t see any mold. We finished showering and headed to dinner. Around 11:30pm we returned to our room from dinner and started to get in bed to find mold all over the base of the bed that we didn’t see till getting ready for bed. At this point we had given up on being able to safely sleep at your hotel. I gathered my kids and went to check out. The front desk guy was kind and offered us a 3rd room, while appreciated but after 2 rooms not being safe and coated with mold, I had to declined spending the time to inspect a 3rd room and drove the 2hrs back to our home. The Front desk told me to email the manger to discuss a refund but the manger is ignoring my email.
