"Very nice visit to Chattanooga at the Read House"

A lovely visit to the Read House and Chattanooga. The hotel has the old classic atmosphere with modern features. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bed is one of the best I have experienced in hotels. The bathroom with large walk in shower was very nice. The workout facilities are clean and functional. The pool was a nice break and popular. Every single hotel staff member was very nice and friendly. The bar and pool table was fun. The amazing number of places that are a close walk to enjoy and that Chattanooga keeps downtown walkable makes it a favorite location. I have zero complaints and would absolutely stay again.

The hotel staff was so friendly! They were very accommodating as well. They emailed a link that you can use to text them. It made it so much easier to have small questions answered! The vibe was so cool. It was a truly beautiful hotel.

"1920s experience with 2026 convenience!"

I love this historic hotel! It feels like you stepped back in time the moment cross the threshold. The staff are incredible, and David at check-in gave a million great recommendations. He’s the man! It might look like the roaring 20s but has all the mod-cons you could ask for. Location is center of downtown. Rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. It’s a little more pricey, but the value is there.

We love The Read House. Every time we come to town this is where we stay. The decor is amazing and the beds are the most comfortable. Very historic, make sure you tour Annalisa’s room. You will not regret choosing this hotel.

"The Read House is worth it!"

My husband and I came to The Read House for a 4 day get away ( we live in Nashville). The first two nights we stayed in the Presidential Suite on the 10th floor. It was booked the next two nights so we decided to lengthen our stay and change rooms. We got a King Suite. The rooms are very nice, the beds are very comfortable and the amenities are great. The lobby is gorgeous, the bar is beautiful and the restaurant has great service and amazing food. The Starbucks in the hotel is a huge plus too. Everyone has been very professional, friendly and helpful from the valet guys, waiters, bartenders and hotel staff. The location is safe, the rooms are clean and the prices are reasonable. The Read House is a fine luxury hotel. We’ll be back!
