"Worst stay ever!"

Our stay was disappointing. Our room faced the dock where a Halloween party blared music until 1 a.m., making sleep impossible. As if that wasn’t enough, the room next door hosted its own loud gathering throughout the night. Several calls to the front desk went unanswered or ignored, which was incredibly frustrating. On top of that, the restaurant prices were shockingly high — $47 for salmon and $49 for halibut feels like daylight robbery. Overall, a beautiful ship with plenty of history, but sadly, poor management and lack of guest consideration made this an unpleasant experience. Beware before booking.

WOW only 20 miles from home, yet a world away. We live locally but had never been before. Like most locals, we have noted the ups and downs. Well, seems like the QM is on an upswing. All the staff seems energized and enthused. They gave us a magical experience celebrating my partner's 80th birthday. He and I attended the Spooky Speakeasy on Monday 10/6 and added an overnight Fall package stay in a stateroom on M deck. The service was exceptional at all times. Many email communications regarding our reservation. Check-in was as personal and informational as concierge service. There was a special little treat in the stateroom to commemorate the birthday, which was thoughtful. Dinner at the Promenade Cafe was a more formal setting than expected, but in a good way. And our disparate foursome -- 80 y/o grandpa, 68 y/o partner, 50something daughter and 6 y/o granddaughter, both veg -- all had enjoyable meals. Coming back home I realized how all the warm wood and beautiful carpeting was so cozy and also elegant. Would def go again and recommend.

"Wonderful experience"

What a wonderful experience. The Queen is part way to being back to her full glory now that the city of Long Beach have taken her back to manage and maintain. Our room was very comfortable, more space than I had expected beforehand. The ‘em suite is small but that is to be expected. The shower was pretty decent for an old ship. We booked two tours of the ship - the Glory Days and the Engineering one, so good to be able to see the beautiful dining and ball rooms plus the inner workings. Take time to walk about and see what this beautiful ship has to offer. Our only disappointment was the cocktail bar which was too big, too busy and whilst the live band would have been appreciated, they did not need amplification and made conversation impossible. It would be a good idea to to create separate cocktail bar for residents that would be more relaxing

A only one in the world opportunity. The place is a living museum. Leave a few hours during daylight to tour every deck of the ship.
