Pros: price, cleanliness, beautiful bowling alley, nice rooms with great views, very helpful front desk with easy check-in and out. When all was said and done, the price was exactly what we were quoted. I was impressed with that. Cons: Hotel is off the strip, and there is no shuttle service at all. To cross the highway cost 15 bucks and up by Uber or taxi. Very limited dining choices, especially at night. I saw people carrying pizza boxes and wondered where they got them. I found out later they were getting them from the bowling alley. We were there for Women's Boxing Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The Orleans hosts it every year. This was our first visit to Las Vegas. I recommend staying here, especially if you have, or rent a car.

They informed us that construction was going on and it was going to be between 8:30 to 6:30 pm, but in all actuality the construction started at 4:30a.m. Woke up to a jackhammer and more. It was horrible, we couldnt get any sleep.

We had a great experience at the Orleans. My partner and I stayed there for 2 nights while hiking at Red Rock. We appreciated the free parking and the convenient location to get on the highway. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. We had a food and beverage credit with our room which was useful as we had most of our meals at the hotel for convenience; it could be used at any restaurant in the hotel. Concierge was kind and helpful.

The Orleans looks and feels like a casino from 2000, in the best possible way. Virtually all of the Strip properties have adopted glitz and deafening noise levels in exchange for true customer service. Before long, no one will know that the old standards for blackjack and roulette were 3:2 payout for a blackjack and 00 greens on the wheel. As if the odds weren't tilted in favor of the casino already, the Strip properties have decided that they needed further edges. Not at Orleans. They just do it right.
