"Mixed Stay With an Excellent Staff!!"

Umm we had a mixed experience and the reason why I gave it a 4 and not a 3 was because the staff was EXCELLENT! Check in was nice and quick. Room was 337, which was at the end of the hall unfortunately no upgrades due to hotel being sold out. Room was comfortable but had a dent in a wall in the corner which we told reception about (we didn’t want to be charged for damage) and the drain was slow. Shower nozzle was backwards so when we turned on the shower it was hot first then cold (only made that mistake once) Ironically we didn’t hear the road but we heard everything else from the crying baby next door (that can’t be helped), we heard the people upstairs (didn’t really say anything because they weren’t in their room all the time), but the main thing was the courtyard noise. I would recommend closing that because at 1230am people want to sleep not wondering when the people outside will tire out and go to sleep. The hot tub was closed which was fine. There isn’t an actual pool. Bar was short staffed and the poor bartender seemed either new or not the normal one was doing the best she could. Unfortunately the expresso martini didn’t come out right but we didn’t complain because she was clearly trying her best grabbing the recipes from her book. Breakfast was delicious! Again, though severely short staffed and one morning she was there by herself I think her name was Vanessa and was phenomenal! The hotel itself was great beautiful lobby with fire place and comfortable outside seating area. Again mixed experience but one thing you can count on is the staff being just wonderful!

"“From Ants in the Bed to Eye-Rolls at the Front Desk”"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

We were really looking forward to this trip — our first time away since having a baby — and it ended up being one disappointment after another. • Our room was warm when we walked in, smelled like sewer, and even had ants on the bed. • The hot tub was out of service, which was one of the reasons we booked here. • The gym smelled bad, the air conditioning was broken, and there was just a fan on the floor — hardly the “wellness experience” advertised. • By the bar entrance, mats were piled up as if cleaning had been started and never finished. Our stroller caught on them and my son actually tripped. • When we asked to be moved or comped a better room after all these issues, we were just put back in the same room. No effort to make things right. • On top of that, the front desk was not helpful at all. The attitude was poor, and the person checking us in acted annoyed by our requests and even rolled her eyes. For almost $500 a night, this stay was unacceptable. Every major amenity we counted on was broken, unsafe, or ignored. A trip that was supposed to be special ended up stressful, and we left wishing we had booked anywhere else.

"Nice, good quality, and new hotel"

Very new hotel. Nice spacious comfortable room. The pillows were way too soft and flat. Other than that, there's nothing wrong except the price. Hospitality of staff... nothing wrong but nothing standout either. All accommodation options are expensive in the Napa Valley, and this hotel is no exception. Don't expect anything exception for $300+ a night. It is the market value especially with a newer hotel. However, it's just a bit "discouraging" for charging $18 per night for parking when there's ample of parking space. Also, watch out for the $3 tiny bottled water in the guest room. There's ice maker and water dispenser in the hallway.

"Clean and friendly"
TripAdvisor user rating 4.0 out of 5

The hotel is very convenient to Napa wineries and loads of downtown eating options. The suite we had was roomy but the layout was a bit wonky. You had to back though the living room area from the bedroom to get to the bathroom. It was a bit inconvenient. There were two closets fairly small, one in the bedroom and the other behind the entry door to the suite. They layout and size of the closets was somewhat inadequate for two travelers especially with the absence of any dressers either drawers It was very clean and the staff was friendly. The restaurant could have been a bit better but with all the various other options nearby it wasn’t a real issue. One surprising thing was the $18.00 daily parking fee that was charged. This was not an inexpensive hotel and the additional parking fee was a surprise.

"Basic hotel at best"

Seems like a new resort, but I didn’t seem well made the shower had mold behind the soap dispenser and at the glass door. If you’re on the street side, the windows don’t offer but sound barrier to the noisy street. The bed was comfy though. There’s a nearby Western hotel that I have stayed at. I’ve had a better experience.
