We had a wonderful stay at the Ellie — great property, great location. But what made it was the staff. Warm, hardworking, and clearly carrying a heavy load with a lean team, they went above and beyond at every turn. To management: your team is your most valuable asset. Staff who are overworked and underappreciated eventually leave — and they’ll take the heart of this place with them. Invest in your people. The guest experience depends on it. To the staff: you are the reason this hotel shines. Thank you.

Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there are several issues worth noting: Check-in and check-out delays: The waiting time was excessively long, likely due to only one associate being available at the front desk. Room cleanliness: There was a noticeable amount of dust in the room, which negatively affected air quality and made breathing uncomfortable. Additional fees: Be aware of extra daily charges — $19 for parking and a $35 resort fee. These costs are not included in the booking price, and there was no clear reminder or disclosure during the booking process.
