"Charming but not worth the steep price tag."

Charming, renovated federal building so one must be aware of the limitations in spaciousness, storage etc. At this price point I would have expected a more elevated stay. We did enjoy the location and the lovely decor but found dining space in the Living Room a little challenging, including access to the Citrus Club.

The best cocktail program in town with great rooms and 5-star service. A beautiful hotel with great staff. A more relaxed option to Charleston Place or The Bennett,

We had a wonderful experience here. I had a corner room and it was very nice. The bathroom with the tub and shower combination in one shower stall was very unique. I liked it. The best part of our whole stay, however was the staff! They were all so friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Jack at the front desk for being so accommodating and those fun guys at the valet stand who drove us in the courtesy car. They were delightful!

"Loud hotel room"

Stayed in room 414- the room was pretty and nice bathroom. However, the noise from the hallway and other rooms is shocking. Seems like they did not soundproof these rooms at all, and for the price I was disappointed. The front desk was nice, the rooftop was good but no vibe? Hardly any music and the staff up there was kinda snotty? Nothing seemed sweet or welcoming up there... If I came back to Charleston I would look at the Charleston Place- it was in the middle of all the action. This hotel is set a few blocks from where we would go to eat/shop. The complimentary car service was nice and the hotel is pretty, but I would not return.

Wonderful stay! Chose for my wife and I to overnight at The Dewberry last minute and couldn't have been more pleased with the stay. From the moment of arrival until departure, everyone that we interacted with had a pleasant and welcoming personality. The tone was set with the pleasant welcome from the Valet and then continued with a warm welcome at Check-in. We had time before our dinner reservation so we enjoyed a bottle of wine in the Living Room. The experience hit every mark that we have for an exceptional stay! We have overnighted in numerous Charleston hotel properties over many visits and I can say that our experience at The Dewberry made the #1 spot. We will certainly return for a future visit to Charleston!
