We had a phenomenal stay, it was close to the venue we were attending a show at, but we will definitely be returning again due to the excellent service and amazing hotel staff from breakfast to valet to front desk, it was all a wonderful experience, not to mention the rooms were lovely and clean, and the view of the city was spectacular

"Please do not stay here."

Terrible experience. Please do not stay here. I’m still awaiting a refund on a $864.08 charge. I didn’t even stay a night. I’ve disputed the charge with my CC company since the hotel doesn’t seem to be helping. I made my booking through Choice Hotels, which had decent reviews for this place. I was given a quote of $544.07. When I arrived, I was told there’s valet only parking, at $55 per night, and a nightly security deposit charge of $80 per night. None of this information was made available to me when I booked the room. Only until after I made the booking was it in the details on the Choice Hotels website. The information isn’t even on the confirmation of booking email. After checking in and paying, I walked into the worst hotel room I’ve ever been in. There were strange marks on the walls, dirt, some kind of fluids (I’m guessing), mildew, mold, stains and other issues. Broken and damaged furniture, obviously unclean carpet and shower, fraying and damaged carpet, peeling walls, and so much more. The bathroom sink is bigger than the kitchenette sink. I couldn’t even fit my arm in there if I needed to wash something. You’d end up with water all over yourself. Worst of all, by far, was the smell. It smells extremely musty. I’ve included a photo of a vent with staining underneath it from a moisture control issue. One of my traveling companions has severe asthma. There was no way we could’ve stayed, not that we had any desire to. Both of our TVs weren’t working properly (one had no signal, no information, and the other was completely discolored blue and couldn’t be changed). The lights in the bedroom weren’t working properly. I booked a stay for 2 king beds and a bedroom suite. There were 2 king beds and a pull-out. After documenting all of this and calling Choice Hotels with some choice opinions, I returned to the front desk and explained we wouldn’t be staying here, and that I wanted to be refunded. I was told the reservation would be “released”. I asked so it’s being refunded? They said yes. It stayed pending in my account for almost a week before it posted. When it did, I called the hotel and asked for a refund again. No refund for me yet. Also, I was never given a receipt, confirmation, or any type of paperwork by the hotel. After reading these reviews, it seems more than a handful of folks aren’t getting their “$80/night security deposit” back. I’ll continue to dispute this with my CC company. If I continue to have issues getting a full refund for a hotel I didn’t and couldn’t stay in, I’m happy to go to the BBB, every review website, and contact whomever at the city of Atlanta with interest in poor business practice. Also, I’d like to leave a reminder for the general public that the Consumer Review Fairness Act is a 2016 federal law which protects consumers’ right to share their honest opinions about a business in any form, including online reviews. A company cannot stop a consumer from posting a negative review or penalize them for doing so. For example, if a company was withholding a refund as a penalization for bad reviews and an honest experience, they’d be breaking federal law.

"Area of Hotel"

When I placed my reservations I specifically asked if this was in a good area of Atlanta, she said oh yes, and was traveling with my teenage granddaughter, it was the opposite!! We felt very overwhelmed with area we were in (Not a safe area!). We booked another hotel that was much safer, but out of my money, and took hours that we lost. Was not familiar with area, or I would have never booked here!!

"Guest Service Outstanding"

Outstanding Service from Roderick at the Connally Hotel I had the pleasure of being checked in by Roderick, and from the moment I stepped through the doors, his warmth and professionalism made an impression. He greeted me with genuine hospitality and made the check-in process smooth, quick, and effortless—like he’d been waiting just for me. Roderick didn’t just hand me a key and call it a day. He took the time to make sure I was comfortable, offered helpful tips about the area, and even had a few clever remarks that made the whole exchange feel personal and friendly. You could tell he takes pride in his work and cares about each guest. If the Connally Hotel ever hands out gold stars for service, Roderick deserves a constellation.

We were in town for the Cowboy Carter tour and we had a reservation. The hotel is located within a mile of the Mercedes Benz Arena, which was a major plus. Initially, check in was easy. We were given a room that was not yet ready to be occupied. The maid instructed us that the room would not be ready soon. We went downstairs to request a different room. We were then given a room that was already occupied. Went back downstairs and the manager Terrell took care of us and gave us another room. That room was also occupied. Finally, we were given a room that was empty, but we wasted an hour and half trying to get accommodations. Not sure if they were experiencing staffing 6 they must have not had enough help to clean rooms or help with check ins. The bed was horrible. It was a Flimsy spring mattress, but we were only staying one night, so we didn't make a fuss about that. Location to the Mercedes Benz and state farm arena would be the highlight of this hotel in my opinion.
