"Roaches"

There was a roach in bathroom shower. Confusion at front desk regaring a 2 night stay and two reservations made. Cleaning people telling us we need to check out. Front desk stated we need to check out and then check back in with another hold on payment.

Stuck in elevator with pregnant woman and children and was told oh that’s normal to be glad I was stuck with the other people for 2hrs inside because we had since to plied the doors open and pull each other out , locked out of room for hrs every day do to Dior malfunctions

My family has been coming here annually for years and we’ve always enjoyed our experiences here. It’s a great location, the front desk is very courteous and responsive, when we needed anything the response has been immediate and effective, the room was cleaned daily without any prompting on our part, the room and hotel are clean and neat,. We haven’t gone in the pool yet this stay but have looked in and it appears clean and inviting. The elevators are very fast, uncrowded and there is no wait. The parking is expensive but there are other options nearby for less. The rooms and hallways themselves are clean and dont have any weird smells. My thought is that some recent negative reviews I saw are not accurate. Overall this a good value, good quality place to stay. I would recommend .

"Sets the standard for awful"

The Claridge Hotel sets the standard for awful accommodations. I was in Atlantic City on a business trip and I brought my electronic equipment, planning to work over the course of several days. To my dismay, the Internet was faulty and would only work five or 10 minutes at a time. I called the front desk numerous times to complain and asked them to send an IT person to fix it. I spoke to several different receptionists but never got any help. One receptionist didn’t even know what to do. Finally I gave up and went downstairs and worked in a room off the lobby. Several times at night, security questioned whether I was a guest, explaining that they sometimes get homeless people sleeping there. On another occasion, room service only made up one bed and threw the clothes that were on that bed onto the other bed that they didn’t make up. Prices were exorbitant as well. I had a miserable stay. I would never recommend The Cllaridge to anybody.

"Will never return"

Surprise charges at the vending machines, ice machine did not work, no hot water in the shower, was told the room had an ocean view (was not the case), room had alot of rust and mold, was not properly cleaned, the elevators were very shaky, parking garage smells of urine, still have not received my security deposit back. Absolutely will never return, waste of stay and money.
