The note is very clean. The rooms are very small, very basic but comfortable (if you don’t mind the lack of room) The restaurant is the thing that brings the place down. The menu is very limited, the food is really poor and it costs an absolute fortune. The process of eating is just rubbish. For example, you would come in to breakfast. Queue at the till. I order a Bagel, some poached eggs and a coffee. I pay a staggering £30. My bagel is put in the heater at that point and I am handed it. I then move along and wait in the line for the staff to make a coffee. This part is about 5-10 mins. I then get my coffee and sit down. By this point the Bagel is cold. 20 mins later I get a shout to collect my eggs. I am handed 2 poached eggs in a cardboard box and some plastic cutlery. The whole experience is just poor and given what they charge it just leaves a feeling of being totally ripped off. All that aside the general service in the area is extremely poor. I went for dinner for quickness one evening and it was a mistake. Over 35 mins for a couple of mini hotdogs and to boot the waitress completely forgot to bring me the drink I ordered. But still requested a tip on the bill. And again, around £20 just for the pleasure of cold mini hotdogs. Absolutely smothered in sauce. If you are partial to a cup of tea dont come to thjs hotel. You cannot purchase a cup of team after 2pm. I expected way bitter from the Hilton brand.

We stayed for 5 nights in a corner Times Square view room. The room was as we expected. We had a fantastic view over Times Square and looked directly at the NYE ball drop. We were able to check in as soon as we arrived as the room was ready. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the city. We walked and used the subway and the central location was superb for this. There is a bit of noise from Times Square below, but this didn’t interfere with getting to sleep. We used the bar a few times, the staff were lovely. The hotel was spotlessly clean, our room cleaned daily. There is a small fridge in our room for drinks and snacks. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing stay! Traveling is not always easy because my significant other is paralyzed in a wheelchair… but the people at Tempo went above and beyond to make it smooth and an great trip. First of all, Dino the doorman is THE BEST. He made sure we felt welcome & helped my boyfriend get into every taxi/ uber. Every day he went out of his way to give us recommendations and make sure we were having a good time. He truly felt like family & I hope we can see him again! Also, Karmen!!! We came to check in really early (so they didn’t have our room we booked ready yet), she did not hesitate to accommodate us! The first room that they had did not have a handicap shower… well guess?! she took us to several different room types and let him see what would be most comfortable. I seriously can’t thank her enough. Elijiah was also the first face we saw when checking in. He treated us with so much kindness and made sure everything went smoothly. The views are cool, the location is perfect for visiting BUT the customer service and people at Tempo are truly amazing. They are what made this stay so great for us. Thank you Dino for taking care of us and for the smiles! Thank you Karmen for making sure we were comfy. And thank you Elijiah for welcoming us in.
