"No Hot Water in the Room"

Before I go any further, I want to make it very clear that this hotel was VERY CLEAN, and the gentleman who checked us in was very genuine and kind. But, there was no hot water in our room. After letting the water run for 10 minutes set to "Hot," I went to the front desk. The same guy who checked us in immediately came to our room to see the problem. He said that the people on the floor above us must have used all of the hot water. Again, he was very kind. He offered us a chance to move to another room, but we were unpacked and settled in, so I opted to take my shower in a different room. The next morning, there was still no hot water in our room, so maybe it was due to a mechanical problem. I was checked out by a lady. When I asked for a receipt, she told me that she couldn't give me one because I had stayed for free as a reward night. I left feeling very uneasy because at previous locations, I was given a receipt, even when I redeemed reward nights. Oddly enough, we stayed across the street at the Comfort Inn across the street 2 years ago, and had no hot water there, either. I'm swearing off this chain in Asheville, NC.

Excellent experience. Great complimentary breakfast! Melissa, John, and Michael did an incredible job at the front desk!! Blanca cleaned my room during my stay. She did an exceptional job!. Would totally make another reservation to stay again!!

"We were there to visit our newborn family member! :)"

I was with my mother who is in her late 80's. She and I enjoy cleanliness and that is what we experienced. Also, extremely quiet and very comfortable and safe. Brenda at the front desk was also wonderful. (which I found scarce these days!). The comp breakfast was very convenient. Both our beds and the room overall were way above par.

The Sleep Inn in West Asheville is a gem! Riley checked us in with ease and good humor. The hotel is high on a hill, close to the highway but with no noise. The rooms are large and most important the beds are comfy!! I would definitely stay here again!!

"Standard Stinky Sleep Inn Stay"

Check in was easy and the hotel was as expected. They even let us check-in an hour early. The free breakfast is standard Sleep Inn fare, lots of options but none are exceptional. Three stars because the tv remote didn’t work and there was a very strong scent of artificial vanilla that permeated the entire room and did not dissipate the entire stay.
