"Horrible and waste"

Rented a suit and took my 2 year old special needs daughter to indoor water park specifically for the kitty pool because she is unable to walk yet and her two cousins that are also 2 because my kiddo loves water plus 8 adults and someone pooped in the pool five mins after being there they shut down the pool and said they were not reopening it.. We went to front desk to write a complaint they said they don’t do that to go to where we purchased tickets they then said they don’t do that as well . All we wanted was replacement comp for water park to come back We spoke to the manager on site they said they should accommodate us yet every desk we went to they said they didn’t do that… My daughter day was ruined over 300 for tickets not even able to use and 300 for a room complete waste. I also emailed the manager of the indoor water park and still haven’t heard back.. That place takes no accountability for anything…

"Relaxing"

Our overall stay was very relaxing, which is what we wanted. Staff greeted us and assisted us with top notch respect and gratitude. We were provided with a complimentary room upgrade which we were very pleased with because we had a fantastic ocean view. Seeing the sunrise from our room was spectacular. However and this is just an honest observation. There is a need for overall maintenance and updating. Vacuuming daily is key to appearance in corridors and common areas. Elevator walls and doors need care, cleaning and polishing to give the appearance of a well maintained establishment. There may be a plan to update eventually I hope but in the meantime there could be a conscious effort to brighten things and polish the existing features to make ones say, I will be back again. Family fun looks like the key theme at the Showboat and keep up the good work. It is so important for family’s to have things to do. So the little things and changes can go a long way. Your staff again were all fantastic.

"Clean room, hallways dirty and reeks of Cigarettes and Pot"

The room itself was clean and acceptable. although the bed was uncomfortable. But the stench of cigarette and marijuana smoke was overpowering in the hallways and you can smell it in the room. Smell of pot is out of control everywhere now, I get it but it was brutal here. Gave everything a “dirty” vibe. Remote for tv didn’t work. To be honest, by morning I couldn’t wait to get out of there. The hallway stench was very off putting.

We waited for 2 hours after checking in to get our rooms. Very disappointed! Also, We did not know that we have to pay in advance to park, the next day of our stay we got a violation ticket for $$53+$25parking ticket. We went to front desk to tell them about it but they said its a different management. Horrible horrible

Room was clean. Bed was awful. It was wrapped in plastic and felt like a toddler bed. View was nice. Shower had no hot water until I turned on the sink. Which was an odd thing. No free parking. $25 a night. The clerk told me to park at Ocean or HardRock. She even told me to go there for food. Probably won’t stay again.
