All tours depart from Granville Island Adventure Centre, located at 1666 Duranleau St., Vancouver, BC V6H 3S2, Canada.
Public parking is available on Granville Island, but it's limited and competitive—plan extra time if driving. For convenience, consider a taxi, Uber, or the Aquabus (water taxi).
The City and Harbor and City and Nature tours each last approximately 1.5 hours, while the City and Waterfall tour runs about 3 hours.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your departure time to check-in.
The tours are family-friendly and suitable for ages 7 and up.
Guests must be at least 4 ft tall and weigh at least 50 lbs (typically applies to children under 7 years old). Maximum weight is 350lbs. For safety reasons, all passengers must be able to board and disembark without assistance, as helping during these steps may create safety hazards.
Tours are not suitable for guests with serious medical conditions, including back or neck injuries, recent surgeries, or those who are or may be pregnant.

Yes, all of the captains and Zodiac boats are certified by Transport Canada. Zodiacs move fast but are very stable.
No, the boats are open-air and therefore have no washrooms on board. Please use public washrooms (located next to the Sea Vancouver office) before your departure.
No, there are no snacks or drinks on the boat. You're welcome to bring your own snacks on board; however, do not consume too many liquids as there are no bathrooms onboard.
Dress in layers and wear flat, closed-toe shoes. Bring a windbreaker or jacket for added comfort on the water. A red flotation suit, approved by Transport Canada, will be provided and is required to be worn during the tour.
Bring sunglasses, sunblock, a government-issued photo ID, and the credit card used to make your reservation.
Yes. You’re welcome to bring a camera to capture the experience. We recommend using a waterproof case or plastic bag to keep it dry during transit. The boat makes full stops at key points, allowing time to take photos safely.
Tours operate rain or shine. However, in cases of extreme weather or high winds, tours may be canceled at the discretion of Sea Vancouver’s qualified crew. If a cancellation is necessary, you will be contacted directly with options.
No, these are city sightseeing tours that do not include whale watching. However, you’ll have the chance to see a variety of birds and sea mammals, and occasionally dolphins, harbor seals, bald eagles, and other sea birds during the adventures.
