Was looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a gear location for my first time in Chicago. I think I found it! The hotel is located just 300 yards west of Michigan Ave. The front of the hotel faces the Chicago River and is located where the architectural tour boats depart. Restaurants and shopping are everywhere. Never had trouble finding what we were looking for. The hotel has one bar/eating establishment. Its not terribly large but we always were able to get a seat and the food we tried, both breakfast and lunch, was very good. Our room was most comfortable. The bathroom was enormous with BOTH shower and separate tub and two vanities. Coffee maker and refridgerator in the room. We chose the river view room and the views were very nice. I would stay here again!

I've worked in Sales & Customer service for years previously. I recognize genuine, personable, friendly, knowledgeable people even over the phone. Satara answered my call at the front desk and possessed all of these positive traits and more. She answered all of my questions honestly, gave me some suggestions/advice and we even had a good old dose of laughter during the call! That's the kind of service that will not on gain clients but retain them. I hope to visit the property soon. The first interaction is a lasting impression and if this is any indication of how our stay will be, then you'll be receiving beyond 5 star reviews. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK SATARA!

This is the hotel to book if you’re looking for the perfect downtown Chicago spot! The hotel was recently renovated and is located in an ideal area by the River Walk. Most places are walkable from this hotel, including Millenium Park and several eateries. Get off on State/Lake if you’re riding on the orange line (great way to save money and it’s faster than taxiing). Ocean Prime next door is amazing for upscale sushi, and just across the bridge there are many shops to explore. Overall, the hotel was clean, bright, and the staff were super friendly. Iyonna was such a lovely host and I really enjoyed our conversation about stationery! We’ll be back again for sure :).
