Featuring views of the city or the Chicago River, every room at Royal Sonesta Chicago provides a 48-inch flat-screen TV, iPod docking station and small refrigerator. Free bottled water and a coffee maker are also included.

The hotel's modern American tavern, Hoyt's, serves Midwestern-inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also features views of the Chicago River. A business center, ballroom and meeting space are available on-site and valet parking for guest convenience.

The Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park are both less than a mile away from the hotel. The Theater District is a 5-minute walk away.

Hotel was great room was nice and clean and definitely roomy. Priced right for at pattys day weekend. River view best in town. Front desk worker Kass was absolutely the best part of the stay. She was kind, informative and gave the best recommendations. She really made the trip for my family.

I’ve stayed at this property about a half dozen times during work travel. From the very first time I was encouraged to sign up for the reward program. As a result, every time I’ve returned, I have been offered an upgraded room and they get increasingly better with every visit. For this particular stay, I was upgraded to a one bedroom suite with views of the river and the city. From Arturo, who met me outside and assisted with my bags to Rachel, who greeted me inside and helped me with my room, the service is top-tier. Finally, this property is conveniently located to a number of businesses, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
