"Night time loud music issues at this hotel"

This hotel was booked by our Travel Agent, Cruise Kings for a two night stay in two rooms following completing a cruise at Miami. The hotel is situated a short drive from both the port and the airport. It is in a great location just a few minute walk from the beach. It comprises three buildings. We arrived at the hotel at 11.00 am with a check-in being 16.00 however, Nelson gave us a complimentary early check-in which was appreciated. The hotel lobby was pleasant and staff helpful and polite. The rooftop and pool area is comfortable with plenty of seating. We didn't venture into the pool. The rooms were spacious enough and clean although there were speckles of paint on the floors. The issue with the rooms is that the toilet doors have glass doors-not good at all. I can't see the reasoning behind this and suggest that they invest in some suitable doors. Our bed was a good size. The main reason for staying at a hotel is to get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, this is the main issue with the hotel. The hotel have piped music in speakers outside the property and we were told this would be turned off at 23.00- not the case! The first night the music was blaring out until 03.30, with a constant boom-boom, at which time we went to reception and were told " they must have forgotten to turn it off". They assured us it would be off by 23.00 the following night, and it was. However, at 04.30 loud music came from the rear of the hotel necessitating another trip in the middle of the night to reception to get the issue resolved! The hotel advertises that they will not hold luggage for their guests, so on the last day when we checked out at 11.00 with our transport to the airport not due until 16.00 we sat with our cases in reception when we could be out and about. However, we happened to notice another guest putting their cases at the back of reception and when we asked about this, we were told we could leave ours. I wish we knew that it was an option! Finally, the hotel advertises that it is strictly non-smoking and asking to step away 10 feet if you wish to smoke, this was ignored and not enforced with people smoking all around the building, making it most unpleasant to sit anywhere. Primarily due to the music issue we would not stay at this hotel again.

Small room for king size category. Tv has an old cable connection (that wasn't even working on arrival). So no satellite options at all. Total of the bill at the booking doesn't include 34$ Resort fee. But this one popping right up after the check out

This place sucks folks. This place is 2 miles from the Ocean drive. this hotel sucks. The room was very small and they had portable AC unit in the room, so the room temperature was not good. I suggest going somewhere else even if the price is little higher. You will regret. If you go with friends, you will see bathroom door is see through glass which is uncomfortable. There is no sink in the bathroom. you can compare this place to worst version of motel 6. You can see in picture that I had to cover the bathroom door with blanket.

The room was very small and uncomfortable, with outdated furnishings and a plywood ceiling that looked unattractive. Unfortunately, the towels were dark, worn out, and unpleasant to use. The only positive aspect was the clean and well-kept bed linen. The pool was dirty with green water, we didn’t observe that anyone would use it. We were assigned to the 3rd floor, but the elevator stopped working on the very first day, which was inconvenient. The view from the window was disappointing as well, showing only concrete walls. The TV picture on every channel was shaky, impossible to watch. The other issue, however, was the noise. We checked in at around 6 PM, and loud live music was already playing. It continued non-stop until 9 PM, so loud that it felt as though it was coming from inside the room. After a long flight, we wanted to rest, but this was impossible due to the noise. We were glad we spent only one night in this hotel. Will never come back.
