Riviera Oaks Resort & Racquet Club in Ramona, CA

My brother and I stayed at Riviera Oaks Resort and Racquet club from April 24, 2025 - May 15 2025. The front desk employees, Ana and Kelly were very helpful whenever I called to request help with the microwave, TV and needed paper goods. They sent someone right over to our room to help. I was particularly impressed with Octavio (maintenance). I am disabled and one day I had returned from the grocery store and he carried my bags to my room for me! I was so grateful as my brother was not there to help me. He has a bright smile and makes you feel happy! I would highly recommend Riviera Oaks as your place to stay, especially if you are staying longer than a few days. Enjoyable experience, Elise La Salle

The location of the resort is great for visiting Julian and the San Diego Safari. It is about an hour away from the San Diego Airport and the Zoo. The condo was comfortable and made it a great place to visit our son who lives locally.

Nice fast, easy check in and out. Friendly staff greeted me and explained the resort area and answered my questions. Nice quiet room with all amenities for a great stay. They also have additional items available for use. The bed was very comfortable and bedroom had plenty of storage space. The furniture looks a little dated but still very nice. Two Sliding glass doors to let in fresh air and light.

I specifically love this property because as a dad, mom and dad need their space. This accommodates us with a private room, also love the big mirrors. The kitchen is an added bonus, kind of like an airbnb. The pool was enjoyed by the whole family. Everyone was very welcoming. I oiled be cool to see vending machines by the pool.

I loved this resort. The fireplace in my room. The excellent customer service. The ability to check out a heating pad after a long day of hiking. However, I did experience an issue with my room, which was technically resolved, but would definitely make others choose to not stay here. Since it may have been a fluke thing, and the staff responded, I won't go into the details. I would probably still take a chance and stay here again for the convenience of location and low rates. A few small friendly criticisms: - The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the couch one of the three nights I stayed here. - There is no clear path from rooms to the pool that you can walk barefoot. You will have to walk on pavement through the parking lot depending on where your room is. - There is loud music playing in the pool area during the day. If I stayed in a room closer to the pool, I would be annoyed by it. I found it bothersome when I used the pool area. - The kitchen items provided were not that great. The pan was NOT non-stick. I used it to cook eggs, and there was not a good enough scrubber provided to clean it. The dishwasher didn't clean it well, either.
