"Pictures are deceiving"
June 2018
We arrived at the hotel looking for the grand pictures seen on the internet. Our room had bad spots in the ceiling and construction was all around us. Look before you leap!

"Welcoming stay "

My husband and I stayed three nights. There was plenty of parking spaces. I felt safe walking at night as well as leaving my car. The lobby was warm and welcoming, beautifully decorated. Our room had plenty of space. The water pressure was great!! The only thing I’d say, which isn’t horrible, was the shower not having a door or anything. I’ve been to several hotels that use this concept but our floor got soaked each time one of us showered. It may have just been the amazing water pressure. The breakfast. Who doesn’t like a complimentary breakfast. It was delish. They had a nice variety. Very filling. I would go back to this hotel time and time again. They even have a chapel.

"Great Stay!"

We really enjoyed our stay at The Ramsey! It was a very nice hotel, decorated beautifully for fall, and courteous employees. We especially like the open bible and a bookmarker on the night stand! We were happy to see that a bible is still in a hotel room and not only put away on in a drawer, but left out to be used. Thank you for a wonderful nights stay.

"The Best"

The Ramsey Hotel is by far one of the nicest hotels. The heated indoor pool is open 24 hours, pool area also has a hot tub and right outside the doors is a nice sitting area with a fire pit. Inside you will be greeted by Gail and Pam who are extremely nice, helpful and passionate about their job! I enjoyed my conversation with the two of them and value their input on local things to do! Let me not forgot to mention, the beautiful fireplace located in the center of the lobby where you can sit and relax while drinking complementary coffee and or hot chocolate. My family enjoyed our stay and we will be back! Thank you for making our visit the best Pam and Gail!

"Really great place to stay and the staff was even better."

My wife and I were on vacation, camping in Gatlinburg,TN; when some unexpected cold and rainy weather arrived. We found The Ramsey online and contacted the hotel and was able to set up a room immediately over the phone. We arrived a couple hours later. As soon as we walked in the door it warm and cozy. A fire was burning in the fireplace and the staff welcomed us like we were family. Check-in was quick and within a matter of minutes we were in our room. The room was clean, beds comfortable and exactly as the website showed. We decided to hit the inside heated pool and jacuzzi before bedtime. After our swim we decided to stay another night and immediately the Manager, Jocelyne worked with us and was able to extend our stay. The next morning we went to the in hotel restaurant for the complimentary breakfast buffet and again the staff was so welcoming and the food was great. Our over all opinion of The Ramsey is that it was above and beyond our expectations and would recommend a stay here. We will be back and also recommend to our friends and family who visit this area. Thank you to the staff for an amazing stay.

My family stayed for three nights; it was supposed to have been a four night stay unfortunately due to illness we had to leave. We were told at the front desk at our fourth would be refunded which they wouldn’t do. The breakfast buffet was a great concept but there was no seating and there was no food every time we went without waiting 15 or 20 minutes For silverware or new trays of food. We ended up eating out by the swimming pool. Maybe they shouldn’t overbook it so!
