"Pictures are deceiving"
June 2018
We arrived at the hotel looking for the grand pictures seen on the internet. Our room had bad spots in the ceiling and construction was all around us. Look before you leap!

The Ramsey...this hotel is amazing. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our complimentary daily breakfast. Our dinner wad delicious and Amber was so sweet and lots of fun. Lauren was very kind when checking out. I wish I could remember more names of the staff. Can't Express enough how kind and sincere the entire staff was. Hotel very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. This was our first trip to Pigeon Forge and we're already planning a return trip. The Ramsey will now be our place to stay. I highly recommend The Ramsey for its location, comfort, value, amenities and friendly staff. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot apple cider was wonderful to enjoy by the fireplace in the lobby at any time of the day or night.

We just checked in today. The hotel is great (room is clean & awesome environment). The only issue is the shower; there is no curtain...just a glass wall that allows the water/soap to splash in on the bathroom floor. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was good (chicken quesadillas & fries) & prices were good. Amber was our server and she had the best friendly attitude and took care of our larger party.

"Newly renovated, clean and updated, great location."

We stayed here in December 2019. The hotel was newly renovated and was clean inside. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was great. The dining area was large compared to the cramped breakfast area of most hotels. The location was perfect for a stay in Pidgeon Forge. We will definitely stay here again.

"Good but other guests made for a bad experience"

The location is great, the lobby beautiful, the rooms very clean, breakfast was good, staff very friendly. The pool area was beautiful, it was one of the deciding factors for my family to stay here, however we had an awful experience with it and did not even attempt to use it the rest of the trip. We took our kids for the movie at the pool and to swim one night and could not enjoy at all due to bigger kids doing cannonballs (in an already crowded pool) and being wild and unruly while their parents did nothing. Would be nice to see the hotel monitor this behavior some how so that all guests can enjoy it and not be run off by the bad behavior and lack of parental supervision of other guests. Also there was constant sounds of kids running back and forth up and down the halls, for HOURS on end, I realize this is not the fault of the hotel and a lack of parenting issue, but again something should’ve been done with this group and not make the other guests experience suffer. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were small and did not have a bathtub for those traveling with smaller children like us. The lobby has coffee, tea, cider and cocoa bar set up which my family enjoyed and in the evenings there was popcorn which my kids enjoyed as well. We had a great time, just would prefer to have had the hotel address the unruly guests.
