"The Planters Inn Charleston is a waste of your money"

When was the last time you stayed in a hotel for $650 a night and they don’t even have a way for you to cast to their TV. they have no smart TVs. I guess we’re lucky. It’s not black-and-white TV .They had no guides on the TVs. The rooms are tired and used up and it’s been bought by some company that obviously is not putting any money into the property Their teapot downstairs doesn’t even work. Don’t waste your money coming to Charleston and staying in the planters Inn. It’s not what it was 10 or 15 years ago. It has gone down down down Downhill

When you walk into the Planters Inn, you feel like you have been enveloped in one big hug. It is not large which makes it feel so intimate. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are delightful and I highly recommend it. The location is excellent, right across the street from the City Market and the Charleston Place.

Great for service by all employees but rooms need renovation .. and updating to handle technology. Room 102 is not worth the price asked .

Perfect location for many of the city activities. Hotel had old world charm with beautiful rooms. Service was outstanding and the elderly gentleman at the front desk gave us many wonderful ideas on places to go and things to do

Our stay was all we had hoped for and more. The charm of the hotel was great. The room was clean and spacious. It is across the street from the market which offers many local artists and crafts. Carriage rides are nearby. While there are numerous selections for restaurants, we found the Peninsula Grill, right in the hotel, to be an outstanding choice with great service and excellent food.
