Staff is wonderful. Food was delicious but prepare for a very pricey experience, especially if adding wine. Service was great by servers and sommelier. Rooms very comfortable.

Great beds, great location. Please experience the onsite restaurant! (ignore the snooty welcoming, the waitstaff is friendly and the food terrific.) The AC is problematic. Valet parking a plus. This hotel is historic and a bit worn. Rooms spacious and charming. The morning room is lovely, with coffee service early. For the price there should be a system for the coffee to be hot, and the front desk young employees to know the locations of highlights in the area. They may be renovating this upcoming year. I hope so!

It’s hard to say what I like best - the location next to the market and the Meeting Street shops and great eateries, the beautiful historic building, or the comfy rooms and beautiful bedding. Plus the staff is so accommodating. Bravo! I WILL be back.
