"Paris? Meh"

It's charming and lovely: the room was large; beds were firm, nice linens. Shower was odd, huge, but the seat was so far from the shower head it didnt make sense. The important critique: 4 nights and housekeeping only knocked 1x. Not sure what their schedule was, saw them in hallway, even asked for towels on 2nd day. Then 1 morning we had no water. Called maintenance and was told housekeeping should have left us a note: Water was off for 5 hours. We were glad we'd already showered. Also, they got rid of concierge, which woud have been very helpful. Resort charge of $62 should be elective, as we never used pool or fitness center. The valets were friendly and helpful getting us cabs. Front desk was helpful and efficient. Bottom line: It was pretty, but I wouldn't return.

Nice rooms! Loved the shampoo, body wash, and towels. Exceptional service at Alexxa restaurant. Beautiful clean casino. The check in process was painful, but otherwise a good place to stay.

"A Total Money Grab!"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

A total money grab. I should have read the fine print. I paid in advance through Agoda, and wasn't ready for the aprx $65 pr night resort fee added to the already high price. Then $25 to check in 2 hours early. $10 to the bellhops to hold our luggage then deliver it to our room. (Self service was not allowed). $3.50 for a small bottle of water in the hotel as the only water in the room was aprx $10 pr bottle. No coffee in the room as they wanted us to go downstairs and pay $6.99 a cup. The cafe in the casino was closed for water problems, so we went into the restaurant next to it that the person at the cafe suggested. $120 for brunch, ordering the cheapest sandwich on the menu, no alcohol, $7.99 for regular coffee. I would not even consider going back.

Location: AMAZING - it is in the heart of the strip. Atmosphere: Loud and busy - smells bad, the only hotel that does for some reason Room: AMAZING-bed was all douvet. Slept like a baby. Value: AMAZING Cleanliness: AMAZING POOL: AMAZING - wind is crazy there so even better on less windy days. TIPS: Take the bus DUECE if you want to get around. Its cheap and it goes all the way to the VEGAS SIGN right to Freemont street. I learned the hard way. There are FREE TRAMS that take you from hotel to hotel. Great for saving time and painful legs from walking. I also learned this the hard way. You can smoke ANYWHERE including the hotels. You cannot flag a taxi. They cannot pick you up UNLESS its from a LOBBY. this is a must know. TAKE NAPS . Its a 24/7 place You can drink anywhere you want even on the street BIG TIP: DO NO BUY ALCOHOL FROM THE CASINO. You can go to the CVS and buy a case of beer for the same price as ONE beer at the casino. We learned this on day 2. MUST SEES: The Luxor. better at night The SPHERE: you cannot go in but you can stand next to it and take pics. Better at night Freemont street is busy and VERY LOUD. If you go at night take a taxi there and back it is NOT safe to walk. The Bellagio Fountains. So pretty. PINABALL HALL OF FAME : All vintage machines that you can ACTUALLY PLAY - take the bus - the walk is too far, its near the Vegas Sign FOOD: For snack go to the CVS and stock up. for a cheap dinner go to the IN AND OUT BURGER They have Mcdonalds and subway and other recognizable places for cheaper eats DONTS: Dont talk to the homeless people, there are a lot of them. Just keep walking. Same with the people who are constantly handing out cards. These are for clubs and prostitutes. Just keep walking. There are no benches or seats ANYWHERE on the strip. I think mostly to manage the homeless people not taking over. So make sure you take breaks if walking distances. all in all. Going to Vegas is a bucket list for anyone. Just have a open mind and HAVE FUN. :)
