What is the New York Multi-Attraction Explorer Pass?
This pass allows you to pick 3, 5, 7, or 10 attractions from over 60 choices. Passes expire after 30 days of your first attraction visit. You will receive a guidebook with attraction information after the purchase.
How do I activate my pass?
Your pass will activate when you scan it at your first attraction.
Can other people use my pass?
Passes cannot be resold or used by more than one person.
When does my pass expire?
With the Explorer Pass, you'll have 60 days from first use to visit your remaining attractions. Non-activated Explorer passes are valid for two years from the date of purchase.
Can I visit the same attraction multiple times?
You can visit only one attraction once per the life of the card. Some restrictions apply to only allow one tour per company, like On Location Tours, CitySights Bus Tours, and Cruise Line tours, etc.
What if I don’t use all of my admissions?
Once the card is activated, it is non-refundable. No partial refunds will be issued for un-used admissions and not responsible for traffic conditions, attraction-capacity constraints, weather-related closings, or unforeseeable circumstances.
What happens if an attraction is closed or a tour is canceled due to weather or other problem?
While we do our best to ensure that all attractions are available, events happen that are out of our control. The great thing about a New York Explorer Pass is that there are so many attractions to choose from. If an attraction is closed, or cannot be visited for some reason, we know you'll find a fun alternative in your guidebook!
Are some attractions closed on holidays?
Yes, many of the attractions are closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving Day. Your guidebook will list any hours or closing affected by holiday days.
