"Latino Fest miscommunication"

I love coming here, and was very excited to go to the Latino Fest this year since I missed it last year. So this time I got to take off work to come, since I had seen the FB post which said it was May 18 (today). Imagine our disappointment when we asked around and finally were told it had been rescheduled (not sure when). We came for the fest so now instead of the Mexican food we were looking forward to, we had to buy lunch there. My friend got a pizza that we shared and it was cardboard. Burnt and paper thin with paper for cheese, it was inedible. So we had to get fries later (and almost $17 for a basket of fries and one drink is crazy). I couldn't even enjoy what I was eating. Not to mention, there was no post on FB about any rescheduling. All they did was take off the post that it was May 18 but no update. Please make sure everyone is notified when things change so people don't end up disappointed. If I would have known, I would have just gone to work.

"A great outdoor adventure. "

This water park is a great experience. We visited with a 6-year-old child. Everyone had an excellent time. The huge pool is magnificent. The water slides are amazing. Great drinks can be purchased at the walk-up outdoor bar. The gift shops are a bit expensive, though that was not the reason for our trip. After our visit, we stopped by Dippin Dots. The servers allowed us to sample a couple of different flavors. The little boy's eyes lit up when he saw his large ice cream treat. Overall, this was a great time. The second time that we were there, lightning was approaching the area as we left. Fortunately, we had already enjoyed our day, and definitely plan to return.

"fair---would consider staying again"

Walls and trim need a good wipe-down. Porch area also needs a touch-up. Bathrooms are terribly small. Walls are thin and you can hear eveything. Ubering into downtown costs about $50 each way (shuttle doesn't run all night). Neighbors were great. Sofa was uncomfortable. Although the listting advertises the cabins can sleep up to 6....there is no way this would be comfortable; we had 4 adults and were cramped. A fair value for the price. If you have kids, the water park and activities would be nice. The neary marina restaraunt has great greens and turkey legs!

Horrible experience we rented a Pontoon boat for a day and we were told we could go tubing when I made the reservation but then the day of reservation we were told we couldn’t use our tubes ? Our twin granddaughters were so disappointed. Then we rented a jet ski instead worst experience we have ever had on a vacation. Thankfully we survived this experience but we Will NEVER GO BACK!!!!! NEVER 👎🏽 AS far as the campgrounds they are OK but during water park hours it’s so very noisy definitely not for a relaxing vacation.

"Nice Waterfront View!"

Expensive for the condition of the park. The staff were good. You will get your money’s worth using the waterpark and adventure park because you get a considerable discount. We had a premium waterfront XL site and beautiful lake views! The site itself was okay. For an extra-large site, our 46-foot fifth wheel and truck barely fit, and per the rules, you are not allowed to park on the grass. So, take note of that. Also, if you look at the park map and book a premium XL waterfront site closer to the turnaround, there is a rock fence post that circles the exterior of the turnaround that will pose an issue for any big rig, which the website does not mention when you book. We chose to back up instead of taking on the challenge like another reviewer, and we were on Site #30. We had no problem backing up, but this was during a non-busy day, Wednesday morning, and there were maybe less than ten rigs in the park, and no one else was leaving that morning. I could not imagine a busy morning when everyone was trying to go and the park was full of rigs. I highly suggest big rigs sticking with a pull-through site like other reviewers suggested, no matter how badly you wanted a waterfront view.
