The tour runs approximately 7 hours.
Each Jeep can accommodate up to 6 guests. For the most comfortable ride, seating is recommended for 4 adults and 2 children or teens.
Gratuity for your guide is not included. Tips are optional but always appreciated.
Bring a windbreaker, dress in layers, and wear comfortable shoes. Blankets are provided. Leave bulky items at home. All personal items must be stored in your lap. Large bags, bulky items, luggage, strollers, folding wheelchairs, and walkers will not fit inside the Jeep.
Yes, the tour is family-friendly and suitable for ages 3 and up. No children or infants under the age of 3 are allowed. Please remember to bring or request the required car seat(s) for any young children at time of booking.
The tour still goes on. Fog and light rain are part of the San Francisco charm. The vehicle has warm blankets and ponchos aboard. In the event of severe weather, the operator will cancel the tour and you will be provided with an option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Muir Woods entry fees ($15 per adult) are not included in the standard tour price. You can either pre-purchase park tickets by selecting the “Full-Day Muir Woods & City Tour + Park Entry Included” option or buy them at the entrance. Children 15 and under enter the park free, and National Park passes are accepted.
No, this tour is not wheelchair accessible. Jeeps are not equipped to accommodate wheelchairs, and guests must be able to use a side step to get in and out of the vehicle.
