Fantastic chill vibe. Clean and great location to LAX. Hire bikes available and very accessible cycle paths nearby. Public transport options nearby also. Courteous front desk staff. Excellent hot tub and pool. Dog friendly also. Various supermarkets and food options available within easy walking distance.

The scents are too strong when you enter the guest room. It was an almost incense-like scent, but about knocked you out. We had to prop open the door to the room and open the slider and keep it like that for hours. The next day, the scent was lighter, but still there. The lobby had powerful scents too. At first I thought I was following a woman wearing too much cologne to the elevator, until I realized it was the lobby area itself that smelled so strongly. If I were someone who got migraines from being around scents, it wouldn't be a good place to stay. The construction noise wasn't something we hadn't known would happen. It started while we were having breakfast, and made it so unpleasant we had to leave earlier than we'd planned, it having started just after 8am. The connection to the T.V. through GetStreaming.tv was impossible. I'd get as far as putting in the code, and immediately the code on the tv would change, simultaneously with the message on my phone or laptop that said they couldn't connect me due to wrong code. I'd wait until a new code was freshly presented, and immediately type that in, and boom! Same thing would happen. The desk rep offered to send someone to the room to help, but we declined, since we were in pajamas and didn't want our relaxing time taken up with a troubleshooting session. The valet service was $52 a day, pricey. All else about the hotel was very nice! We had a beautiful view of the boats from our room, it was nice and clean, plenty of pillows. (Would be nice to have a nightlight dimly glowing in the bathroom).

A stunning location and views over the marina. Clean rooms and facilities and very helpful and friendly reception staff. The pool is quite small, but very pleasant. Great food and setting at the restaurant but steep prices for what you get and service could be more attentive and a little slow. It’s also a short walk to other restaurants in the marina.
