For the price point and the 5-star reputation this hotel carries, I expected a great deal more — and unfortunately, it fell short in almost every category that matters. Room & Linens: The guest room itself was acceptable, but the towels were shockingly thin and stained — the kind of quality you’d expect at a 2-star roadside motel, not a luxury property. Bring your own towel. Breakfast Credit if you use Amex platinum. Wasted Due to Poor Communication: Our guest services contact, Georgi, never mentioned the Easter brunch on Sunday, so we had no idea we had to get there before 10 am. As a result, we were unable to use our breakfast credit — money left on the table simply because staff failed to communicate what was available to us. Completely avoidable and very disappointing. Transportation Fiasco: This was the most frustrating part of our stay. On Sunday around 3pm, we arranged a ride to the train station at 4pm with a driver named Rusty. When we arrived at 4pm ready to go, Rusty had already left for the day. No one on staff could get us to the station. The 16th floor guest services team was completely in the dark — no backup plan, no accountability, no solution. If you offer an in-house car service, you must have a driver on standby. This is not a nice-to-have; it’s a basic operational requirement. Bottom Line: Poor linens, a communication breakdown that cost us our breakfast credit, and a transportation failure that left us stranded — none of this belongs in a 5-star experience. The staff appeared undertrained and disconnected from one another. I would not recommend this hotel at its current price point until serious improvements are made to staff coordination and guest service standards.

"Amazing service / great views / best carrot cake"

Loved the room. The bar upstairs is fantastic. The server offered lots of advice about drinks, even bringing a bottle of bourbon to the table so my husband could have a sip. He recommended the carrot cake which we had twice - once on both nights. We ordered room service both mornings and it was prompt and deliverers by such kind servers. It makes such a big deal to have people who go above and beyond. We chose the hotel through Amex travel and will definitely stay at the hotel again. Thanks for making the stay fantastic.

We stayed in a Superior Bay View which was quiet and comfortable, and lived up to its name with views of the bay, though be aware there are buildings in this view so it is not a clear view. The decor is by Phillippe Stark intended to reflect nature, though is very colourful so might not be to everyone's tastes. The drop in star is due to a couple of reasons: The bed was due to be changed every other day but was changed once during our week's stay (on our final night). The sauna was lukewarm at best, though the spa unstaffed so no way to sort. Parking is USD 70 per night, though there is a place around the corner which is USD 10 per night which the hotel itself recommended. Would we stay there again? We would probably stay at another hotel in Seattle, but wouldn't have any issues with staying at The Lotte.

This was the first time my girlfriend and I stayed at a five star hotel. After our only one night stay we completely understand it deserves all those stars. There are so many amenities that are great. My personal favorite was the Lexus experience with the LC500. The staff and front desk real made our time feel special. Special thanks to Antoine who greeted us so warmly and made us feel so special

I had an awesome stay at the Lotte Hotel Seattle for my birthday. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Georgi helped me at the front desk and acknowledged my AmeX FHR benefits and helped me with a room upgrade! This was our first time staying here but definitely will not be our last!
