"Give down hill after 6 years visiting"

We've stayed here for 6 years and lived every one, expect this was a nightmare. and there won't be another unfortunately after this visit. It's sadly gone downhill. Huge tear in our screen when we arrived so maintenance was in and out of our room the first day sheet a long day of traveling we wanted to shower and settle in. No conditioner in the shower or it wouldn't come out. There are only about 8 pool chairs to lay out in so some days we had to put towels on the concrete pavers to lay out. No pool towels in the rooms any more. You have to check them in and out from the front deck which is a nuisance. Not worth the $900 I paid.

"Party Central & Poor Parking"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

We liked the location, the room had a great deal of wear, cupboards wouldn't shut, etc. The worst part was that staff issued 6 or more parking passes for some rooms. We couldn't park near our building 1/3 of the time we were there, because of hordes of kids partying in building 13 the night before Easter and a prior night during the week. My husband is on crutches and I use a cane. We often didn't get the handicapped spot, because kids had their motorcycles parked there. One night they parked their motorcycle up against our vehicle, so you couldn't enter it, scratching it. We also had teens up at 3 AM on Easter arguing outside our bedroom window. Outside guests should not be allowed on the property, and a max of three parking permits should be given out. The lot of our building had ten spaces, and several cars were always parked on the grass. We had to park down the street twice, but we paid to park near our building too! No body seemed to care when we mentioned this. Clearly, parking passes are meaningless with all the outsiders coming to parties being held in some of the rooms. One night a dozen young men were partying in another unit earlier in the week, and their partying spilled out in the lot. I get this was Spring Break for some highschool kids, but this wildness doesn't make adults want to choose this location again.

"Outdated and not the cleanest"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5
Reviewed March 18, 2026 NEW
For a place that charges a resort fee, this was really disappointing. It felt outdated—like an early 2000s home that hasn’t been maintained—and not clean. There was a noticeable odor, grime on faucets, rust throughout the bathrooms, splatter inside the fridge, and even a damaged light with burnt-looking plastic. We stayed, but it wasn’t a comfortable or reassuring environment. Definitely not up to what you’d expect from a resort. Although outdoor area was beautiful, we will not be staying here again.

"The worst lodging experience ever!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed February 21, 2026
You get what you pay for. My wife and I were traveling with our small dogs, and since we only needed somewhere for two nights, our choices were limited. The website is impressive, but the photos are not representative of what is actually available. Our unit was extremely old, the furniture was dirty and falling apart. The mattress was so worn out that neither of us got more than a couple hours sleep in total. The smell was horrendous, like a moldy, mildewed crawl space. There was black mold growing in the shower. There were no dog waste bags in the dog walking area, and the trash can for dog waste was overflowing. The smell was awful. This place should be condemned. The condition is so bad that it wouldn't take much effort for a demolition crew to finish the job. The price advertised sounded reasonable at first, but the add-ons made the cost over $250 per night. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.
