Lovely stay at the Kimpton Everly. Very cool modern vibe. Great location for Hollywood sights. Room was quiet and clean. Housekeeping did a great job. Front desk was informative. Valet was excellent. Angel & Brandon were quick with my car and helped load and unload.

I arrive to check in, my business partner forgot to give them my name when booking my room. Shouldn't have been an issue, I called him to have him confirm. The lady at the desk says she needs to speak to him to confirm. I have him on my cell phone, he's an hour away. I go to hand her the phone... "No, he has to call the hotel." Ok, kinda dumb, I'm standing in front of her with him on the line, but I digress. We get that sorted 20 minutes later, And she goes to check me in. They want $150 PER NIGHT for incidentals. I stay at upscale hotels frequently in my line of work, I have never once seen incidentals that high... I didn't have all of it on me, my business partner had his card ready to cover it. She refused to take his card number over the phone, so now I'm stuck in the lobby after traveling since 4am waiting an hour with all my luggage because this woman refuses to work with us. I will never stay here again.
