"Check in Staff perfect, rooms not so much."

The hotel is showing its age. What makes it worse is the poor housekeeping and maintenance. Room heater did not work well, stayed on cold blast for the first 10 to 15 minutes, then heat would finally blow out during that time it would make a loud grinding sound (rm918), Housekeeping clearly rushing, tub had hair in and around it. The sink was clogged (assume also with hair), when we opened up the sofa bed, it had food particles in the mattress. Not what I expected a Hyatt to be. Crew at the front desk during check-in were awesome, treated you like a 5-star guest. the rooms, more like a 2.5 to 3

"Perfect stay for our wedding"

I recently booked six rooms for my family and me for our wedding at a nearby venue. There were several details to coordinate beforehand, such as guest names and billing arrangements, and the management team was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire process. My family and I were very impressed with the hotel’s service. The staff even went above and beyond by preparing flowers and a thoughtful card in our room for our wedding, which was truly touching. Every staff member we encountered was professional and friendly, ensuring our stay was seamless and stress-free. I sincerely thank the entire team for making our special occasion even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Location was wondefully convenient to visiting family in Rutherford and Hoboken. Loved the complementary breakfast too. Just need to work on flow to accessing breakfast items.

So great location. Stayed for one night for business. Check in was very quick. When I got to my room TV was not working. They could not fix it so after unpacking got moved to a new room. Not a big deal, there were great about it. Room was spacious had a nice desk to work on, bed was comfy. I was on the side facing a busy road so traffic noise at night was a tad annoying but overall a good stay.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Secaucus Meadowlands and had a wonderful experience. Chassidy at the front desk was absolutely amazing—overly helpful, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make my stay smooth and enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and while the breakfast was just “okay,” the overall service more than made up for it. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
