"Disappointing service"

I've never left a negative review before and unfortunately this has to be my first. There was no greeting or even a hello when I approached the counter to check in. Despite having an advanced booking, the front desk staff just muttered at the computer during the check in process and acted like me being there was a bit of an inconvenience. When check in was complete, they just gave me my keys and sent me off (no mention of breakfast or any of the hotel amenities). I think they MAYBE said 5 words to me, total. The checkout experience was only marginally better. The room itself was okay but not stocked and questionably serviced. The shower has two shower soap dispensers, both of which were completely empty. The toilet paper roll was on its last few sheets when I walked into the room. The experience and service I would expect at a 1 star motel. The price point was abit higher then that. Quite disappointed tbh.

"Poor quality and service"

The room did not get cleaned despite asking for one, the parking was oversold which created a mess, people parked all over the place, the staff is not friendly overall, poor breakfast quality. This was not a cheap room but did not feel like I was staying in Hyatt.

"3 Star hotel with a 5 Star feel."

Had a cancelled flight and missed the first night. Management and staff were all top notch in providing a courtesy credit and throughout the stay. Kelly also went the extra mile to provide extra service in retrieving items from the kitchen. Griffin, Bree, Lilly and Matt all made you feel at home. It's nice to stay at a place where you know there's a helpful and attentive staff just in case. Rooms here are updated well and have very functional work spaces. Will definitely return.

"Beware of Parking Garage; It Could be a Deal-Breaker"

Guests driving to this hotel should think seriously before booking. This is especially true if you expect to use your car during the stay. The garage is designed for valet service, but it isn't available. The self-park situation is very bad; guests don't follow the rules and spaces are tight. Hyatt should be embarrassed by the situation it created. Check in was slow. The outdoor patio was never available due to wedding receptions. Room was clean, spacious & AC worked well.

"Beware of the noise"

In general, our weeklong stay at the Hyatt House in the lively Southside Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh was okay — nothing overly disappointing, nothing that exceeded our expectations mostly.. However, my one big complaint concerned the hotel’s hosting of outdoor affairs on a Terrace overlooked by many of the guest rooms, including ours. The hotel posts notices on the front desk announcing the affairs and apologizing for any disturbances (celebrations end by 10:30). They also state that guests are warned on their website about potential disturbances to guests, but if the notice is on the web, it’s deeply buried. At any rate, the Hyatt House hosted a wedding party on the Saturday night we stayed there. While the sound levels were reasonable to begin with, as the night wore on, the PA system grew louder and louder to the point that it was impossible to ignore. The staff at the desk and an assistant banquet manager seemed pointedly disinterested in hearing my complaints about it. When events such as outdoor weddings clash with the interest — and comfort — of a hotel’s guests, something has to give. At the Hyatt House, apparently the terrace events win out. Let the buyer beware.
