"Engaging Hotel Ecperience"

Great hotel with awesome view of the water way. A little secluded so definitely need personal transportation to get around since there’s no shops in walking distance. Hotel hallways and room decor had a nice look and room was comfortable, clean, and roomy with all necessities readily available. Only irritant about room was the lack of a chair height toilet but still functional. Definitely worth the package price paid. I would gladly stay agin and highly recommend this facility.

"VERY RUDE Shuttle Driver!"

I chose this hotel for my kids and I to stay at the night before our cruise because of the proximity to the cruise ship and the shuttle to go there. The hotel is nice the staff that checked us in and checked us out were nice. The room we had had a nice access to the outside, the boys had fun playing in the sand. The room was nice but the bathroom only had two bath towels even though there were four of us in the reservation. It was easily remedied with a phone call and the lady that gave us two more towels was nice. After we checked out the following morning we were told to just stand by where the shuttle usually parks and it’ll be there every 30 mins. We waited about 40 mins. We were the first in line and there was a big group about 11 of them waiting as well. When the shuttle driver came he was not in a good mood but started loading up the big groups luggages. A few of the old ladies had told the driver that we were there first and that our reservation to the cruise is a lot earlier than them he didn’t seem to care. They were willing to give up their seat so my 3 sons and I could get in first. So I asked him if we could get in first since we were first in line , the other groups were willing to wait after we got dropped off, he just said with his voiced raised “ I am not going to argue with you! I’ll be back and you can get in then”! It was very embarrassing and humiliating when we only asked. The only reason I could come up with his attitude is that he had a bad bad day, and didn’t want to unload the luggages that he started putting in the van before checking who should get in first. We ended up taking an uber and had I known that that would’ve happened I could’ve saved a couple hundred $ staying in Hyatt on Pike with have a free breakfast with it and the same cost to uber to the cruise ship.

This property has really gone down hill. One of the towers is under renovation, so maybe there's hope. But don't expect to be able to order room service, or takeout. Let alone reach the front desk by room phone or cell. Historically, my stays in the past have been great. After spending $1,700 for three nights this last week, I can't say I would even consider returning again. The place needs a lot of work, both in hospitality training and maintenance.

Had a wonderful time, breakfast and service were fantastic. Great attitude at Fuego ( the restaurant ) the service delivered by Ezekiel and team was like no other I’ve had. Huge value for the cost! Love this place and will come back again. Made me a customer for life. Room ,view, and bed were worth twice what we paid! Great job!

Beautiful hotel. Great service. Restaurant was amazing. We loved the fire pit by the water. The pool area was beautiful. We used the shuttle to the cruise terminal and it was super easy and convenient. This will be our go-to anytime we come to Long Beach.
