"10/10 Experience"

We had the best experience at Hotel Fraye. The hospitality was top notch. Alyx at the front desk was super helpful and was able to get us checked in early because we arrived earlier than expected! Sean with Valet was also amazing when we couldn’t find the number for our car. The hotel was beautiful and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is also in a wonderful location to midtown. We will definitely be staying here again!

It was absolutely exceptional! Myself and my partner couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We arrived and got asked if we would like to upgrade. Got complementary drinks for the bar, and the room was incredible. So clean, the decor was lovely and big rooms with amazing view. The staff were so helpful & assisted us with the best places to go and helped us with anything we needed. We can’t wait to come back again soon and stay again. Thank you!

"Great but expensive."

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was amazing. Always so helpful and kind. The hotel is expensive to stay at for sure. For the amount of money spent each night was hoping to get something like a free happy hour, free breakfast or a shuttle to the airport. Other less expensive hotels offer complimentary things for staying Overall a great place

"Skimpy on towels and much less friendly than August"
TripAdvisor user rating 4.0 out of 5

Our daughter now lives in Nashville. We stayed here for multiple nights in August 2025 and returned again for 5 nts in mid-October 2025. We noticed a big change in staff friendliness since August. One of the reasons we returned here was the staff. In August when we came and went, the front desk went out of their way to say hello. This time, we didn't get a peep out of them. Not so much as a hello or even a nod of acknowledgement even when we entered with nobody else in the lobby. It was noticeable and very strange - especially since this was a huge change since August. If that wasn't bad enough, they have a serious issue with towels. We noticed this in August and it was even worse this time. When we checked in, we had one bath towel despite me ensuring before arrival that they knew we were a party of two. So the night of check-in I went to the front desk to request another bath towel and they said one would be provided overnight and left on the door. No towel arrived, so I had to get one the next morning. Then after every room cleaning, I had to get another towel since we kept being left with one (except the last day when someone figured it out). We are Hilton Honors members. We paid a good amount to stay here (and will be returning to Nashville often). I have no idea why they cannot provide enough towels in the room for 2 adults to shower. My gosh, we get more towels in a motel. The hotel is nice. The location is good for us. Good restaurants are within walking distance. But there are plenty of hotel options in Midtown and I'm not sure this one is trying hard enough to retain guests. I'm not sure we will return here for our next visit to Nashville. If they don't care, maybe I shouldn't either.

"Lack of service"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 21, 2025
I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel, but was quickly let down. First a couple of positives - the hotel itself is very nice and the breakfast was good. Our arrival started with having a lackluster employee check us in and the valet nowhere to be seen. And the nightly valet (only parking option) cost $54 per night. Highway robbery! Once we got to our room, there were only two bath towels - I’ve never stayed somewhere with only two. So we called to request more and they never arrived. We wound up getting extra towels off a cart the next day. Then came breakfast. You have to order food there instead of a buffet. They were in no way staffed to provide breakfast in a timely manner to the crowd. I went down to breakfast at 9:15, waited probably 10-15 minutes to get my order taken and then 30-40 minutes to get my food. This really impacted what I’d had planned that morning related to a 11 am football kickoff. After dinner, we went to the 7th floor bar to get a drink. There were only a few customers. The bartender not only never acknowledged us but then left the bar to go retrieve something around the pool. So we left and went to the lobby bar and were served right away. At checkout, our Hilton Honors perks had not been added to our bill. And then I was told no food comps are added the day of checkout? Overall, this hotel clearly needs more employees and some service training.
