Local Residents Policy: Hotel BLUE does not accept reservations or permit occupancy by residents of Horry or Georgetown Counties of South Carolina. Reservations booked by residents of these counties will be canceled and reservation deposits will be forfeited.

Hotel Policy: Hotel Blue is a couples and family oriented resort. All single adults and children under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Unmarried couples will need both parties to be at least 21 years of age to check-in at Hotel Blue. Resort fee, parking fee, and booking fee will be paid upon check-in. Only 1 vehicle permitted, per reservation.

Balance due must be paid by credit card upon check-in. The name on the credit card must match that of the reservation and valid ID.
Your credit card will be pre-authorized $250 for incidentals.

A 2.5% convenience fee will be added to all credit card payments made at the property; however, this fee will be waived for debit/pre-paid card payments.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other guests, and staff. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting hotel BLUE.

When we arrived we were helped at the front desk, I had to pay a resort fee so total of 50$ at the checkin time.... it is winter ....all I needed was a 1 night stay /bed for my husband, my 10 year old and myself, no pool in 40 degrees. We went up to our room...the room was fine for a roadside motel, not for the reviews I saw. I called down for a refund and checkout after 10 minutes in the room. The manager stated I would receive a 10$ refund....Wow!!!! So we checked out and went to Doubletree for a Great experience from start to finish.

"Nothing fancy but a good time"

We had a good time there. Wasn't able to experience all that it had because of the rain and some of the amenities not opening till April. Its an older place so do not expect luxurious or new amenities in the kitchen or rooms. All in all a good time for the price.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! this is the worse hotel my family and friends have ever been to. They rip you off with charging an arm and a leg for such a crappy room. Our room did not have any sheets on the bed, the fridge was broken, NO shower curtain and NO toilet paper. The floors were absolutely disgusting because they looked like they haven’t been mopped in years. The elevators were broken and I got stuck in one. The hotel reaked of mold and marajjana. The cops were also outside and the neighbors told us the swat team was there last week. The final straw for us was there was BLOOD ON MY PILLOW and there was also dried blood on the wall. I would like the remind everyone this is also covid season and this hotel hasn’t seen a drop of cleaner. I strongly recommend any hotel other than this one.

I must say we always stay at Hotel Blue, but this visit AND due to the pandemic was PHENOMENAL!..They really made us feel welcomed as usual but we also had that feeling of your covered and they were adhering to the CDC guidelines.Thanks alot to the staff and we'll see you again soon!

We stayed here over Memorial Day for 2 nights and it was NOT somewhere to take the family. There were people standing 2 feet from our car at check in smoking pot and talking trashy. The pool was filled with people screaming and leaving empty glass beer bottles all over the ground. At night the room next to us had music blaring until well after 2am and all we could smell was pot when we went out on our balcony. In the morning the hallway was filled with garbage. The next night there were people screaming and making obnoxious noises outside waking all the guest in our hotel and the one next to it. I will add that our room was clean and the staff was friendly but did nothing to monitor or stop the other guests from ruining our vacation.
