We stayed at this hotel as we were traveling to Seattle and the room was completely filthy. We stayed one night and will never stay there again we called the front desk and they sent someone down to clean the bathroom that was disgusting. The noise level was terrible nobody got any sleep that night.I have traveled for a living and this was one of the worst Hiltons I have ever stayed in.

"Poor Follow-Through of Problem Resolution"

Despite being a Hilton Honors Member for nearly 20 years, we were assigned a room with a broken A/C compressor. On our first day of our two-night August stay, I blamed the hot room on our leaving the drapes open. But it got worse. My wife called the front desk to ask for a new room, considering we needed a good night's sleep before our early port departure the next day. "No alternative room available, we'll send a tech." The technician arrived only to inform us that, "...they didn't tell you? This room has a bad A/C compressor." My wife called the front desk again with this revelation, and the front desk offered "no charge for the 2nd night" and some fans to get us through. We accepted. However, while on our week-long cruise we discover Hilton had charged us the full rate. Worse, the second night was more expensive than the first. We had taken the lead on selecting Homewood on behalf of six others in our party, so I was that much more disappointed with our experience. The location was near-ideal, but I cannot recommend this Hotel due to the lack of follow-through on our previously agreed to problem resolution.

Tip room 404 next to a storage room. Twice on first night someone there speaking loudly and noisy. Thought another customer. Turns out storage room I actually banged on wall 2 different times. Never happened again after that first night. One Elevator broke entire visit. Shower gel empty and floor could have been cleaner. Some dust I have stayed here three different times and usually very satisfied even without a pool. Could have been little better this time. For the expense, it should be pretty fabulous It was otherwise safe and met my needs. Breakfast was fine. Lady there serving breakfast was pretty awesome With all the keyless features hardly any staff interaction and I appreciate the extra friendly ness they usually offer I will hopefully come again

"Standard Homewood Suites"

Stayed here for one night before a cruise, and this Homewood Suites is a perfectly fine hotel. It's not great, it's not awful, but it's middle of the road on all accounts. In other words, it's wholly forgettable -- and that's okay! Our room was a bit dated but had plenty of space. It was laid out like an old school Embassy Suites: a seating area separated by a bathroom and kitchen and then the bedroom. The furnishings were in very good condition and the room felt clean. The shower pressure was good and the bed was comfortable. Considering we only spent about 6 hours in the room, it did its job. Since I was traveling during the very popular summer tourist season, it goes without saying that the nightly rate of $295 before taxes and fees was absolutely outrageous. This hotel is NOT worth that much. Seattle is an expensive city and given this hotel's walking distance location to the Space Needle, Climate Pledge Arena, and very brief Uber or shuttle ride to Cruise Pier 91, they feel they can charge high prices (and they can). The adjacent neighborhood is kind of sketchy, and it's located on the outskirts of the main downtown tourist area. I would not recommend walking around after dark. When we were walking back to the hotel from Pike Place Market (about a 20 minute stroll) around 8 pm, we encountered some very aggressive homeless people and we also saw a group sitting on the sidewalk doing drugs with a pipe (I guess it was crack or meth). That's not ideal. They offer an overpriced shuttle to the cruise port for $10 per person, but the two of us just hopped in an Uber on embarkation morning for $9 total. Homewood Suites offers a free hot breakfast buffet to all guests. I didn't partake, but my husband said it was "greasy and gross." He was able to get a fresh banana though. While this would not be my choice of accommodation the next time I am in Seattle, it's a fine place to stay if you are just in town for one night pre-cruise.

"Wonderful Location and Comfy Rooms"

I was traveling with my teenage granddaughter, so I wanted to book a suite. The room was very nice and had everything we wanted or needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept well. My granddaughter slept on the pull-out couch, and she said it was also fine. We tried to get breakfast the first day, but it was SO crowded and busy around the buffet that it kind of grossed me out. We decided to go out for breakfast from then on. The staff was very nice. We had to ask for housekeeping service on our third day there as we needed new towels and garbage taken out. The location is terrific. It is only a few blocks to the waterfront, and it is within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay there again.
