I have to give a huge shoutout to Shana Kay at the bar! She truly made my stay memorable. From the moment my husband and I sat down, she was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly personable. Shana has a great energy and clearly knows her craft—my drinks were perfect every time. Beyond that, she created such a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere, making it easy to relax and unwind after a long day. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt taken care of. If you’re staying here, definitely stop by the bar and see Shana—you won’t be disappointed!

"Made a cold day at the beach better"

I’m such a picky hotel person when it comes to cleanliness and inspect everything as soon as I check in. Have even been known to wipe everything down in our room. This hotel seemed super well-maintained even by my standards. All staff were very helpful - we needed extra towels and paper towels and they were quickly dropped off. Shana in the restaurant was particularly amazing when I called and asked some questions about the menu and closing time. Valet is indeed expensive but the attendants were great and fast (there’s also city parking close if you want to skip the valet). It was unexpectedly too cold for the beach during our stay but the indoor water area, small arcade, and easy access to the boardwalk and all its attractions was perfect for the day of doing the touristy boardwalk thing that we’d planned (after starting the vacation in a quieter place). There are calmer areas of Myrtle Beach/South Carolina if that’s what you want. Some considerations: we had a top floor and it was spectacular for views and quiet. But the buzzing from the wind on the balconies/roof that other reviews mentioned is real. It was so windy when we were there and the buzzing was loud. It didn’t keep us from sleeping (we had a sound machine) but if that kind of sound bothers you maybe don't get a top floor. Also the fitness center is small and the elliptical was broken so ask questions in advance if that’s important to you.

I had a wonderful time. I enjoyed the pool, and loved the view from the balcony. Valet was great, they were always fast and persistent on opening my door. I really appreciateTyler M for always welcoming me and my family back to the hotel. I will definitely be back.
