"Excellent a Must Stay"

My hubby and I always travel to Bakersfield and we have several hotels we have stayed at. I would say at least 10. Home 2 Suites is by far the best in all areas. We give it exemplary ratings for location, service, cleanliness, food, room, and staff. We stayed for 2 nights and the staff was beyond excellent. From management Lisa taking care of our reservations, to Vivian and Rachel the front lobby always friendly knowledgeable, Terri who helped us with our needs as my hubby is disabled, and finally Shauntia who kept the food coming and areas clean in food court. Going forward we will be booking here and praying its available when we need it. May this hotel continue in success and God bless their staff.

So clean - staff was friendly! Love the 2 queen studio with partial view of Gulf. So much room. Went to Publix first night for supplies for frig. Very well designed room!

I would give this a 3 star review but the price was decent and the location is nice so I bump it to 4 stars. It is the typical Home2 hotel and is in good condition and clean and what you would expect for them. You can walk to the beach from the hotel but the public beach is very small and surrounded by roped off private beaches on either side. The public beach as you would expect gets very crowded and there seemed to be mostly Spanish people there. When we were ther, it seemed to be mostly tourists everywhere and not many locals when going to restaurants.

Terrific experience, great hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is in a great and convenient location. Rooms are very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommend to everyone traveling to the Destin area. Also a great value.

"No soap!😡"

There was no hand soap whatsoever in the public bathrooms or in the guest rooms. I thought at first this was an unfortunate oversight so I asked for some soap at the front desk. The woman told me they did not have any soap available. This is absolutely unacceptable! By this time, we should all understand the importance of proper handwashing. The hotel should have contacted each guest to warn them that they did not have any soap. We like Home2 Suites well enough that we probably would have stopped off at a store to buy our own soap if we had known ahead of time.
