Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Don’t Waste Your Time or Money I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels in Orlando, but the IHG Waterpark is by far the worst. I regretted booking within my first five minutes. Check-in was an absolute nightmare — only two clerks for a massive line, and I stood there for over an hour in a lobby that had to be at least 80 degrees. When I finally reached the desk, I was told my room wasn’t ready and to come back later. From 2 PM until 6 PM (check-in is at 4 PM), I was stuck in their lobby, speaking with at least six or seven different associates. Not one of them would help me. I was essentially told, “I don’t know what you want me to do — your room is not ready,” and when I asked for a refund, they refused.. The hotel itself is in terrible shape. The arcade is mostly broken, the pool is tiny and nothing like the photos, and parking is a disaster. Guests were blasting loud, offensive music at the pool in front of families, and security did nothing. The overall vibe felt unsafe and chaotic, with other guests pushing through my party while yelling about security being sent to their rooms. This place is a rundown, crime-ridden dump, and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. Stay anywhere else.

Terrible property. Not worth the stay, even if the price is less expensive than surrounding hotels. The main water park is under construction, not noted anywhere when booking. Main lobby is not available and check in is in the Marker Place. Quite the walk from the actual lobby and quite a downgrade of where you expect to be welcomed into a property. Property grounds and exterior looks run down. Construction ongoing and the property does not look appealing. Insects in the room around the sink. Wi-Fi was difficult to connect to. Room I reserved was not available. To be fair the interior of the room, was decent minus the nats around the sink. Not worth the stay even for a less expensive price.

Whilst we enjoyed the waterpark area of the pool very much, the rest of the property is in serious need of updating and repairs. In our room alone, there were multiple issues: the hinge on the bathroom door was broken so the door had to be lifted and shoved to close; the top drawer of the dresser missing screws so it doesn't close properly; shower bracket holding soap dispenser is loose from the wall; no hooks to hang wet towels; no zipline to hang up wet bathing suits; bedroom has a missing recepticle cover plate; floor tiles very dirty in bedroom.

We all enjoyed our selves. My son and his boys first time outside NJ. They enjoyed the Waterpark area. They had fun sight seeing at the downtown Disney attractions. They walked and took alot of pictures.

The room had a good setup, and the Waterpark pool was pretty good. We were not told that one of the pools was out of service until we arrived, and was under construction. We completely understand updating the amenities, but it would've been nice to know in advance, and not be in a room that overlooked the construction area. The parking lot was kind of a cluster because of the construction as well, and made it difficult to navigate and find parking. There were people parked everywhere. The check-in wasn't the best as there were signs when you entered the parking lot pointing towards one building and the guard redirected you to theMarketplace. When you entered that building, there were no signs directing you to the check-in desk. It was pretty disorganized. Other than those few things, we were pleased with our stay.
