"Horrible service"

We had a horrible experience here on October 3, 2025. We arrived at midnight after driving for over 13 hours. The lady at the front desk, Ashley, couldn't find our reservation even though I had it up on my phone and she admitted it was all correct. I assumed she would do something about it since it was clearly an error in their system, but nope, she wanted me to make another reservation (for a higher price of course). She gave absolutely zero options or help and just stood there. I was, and still am, so shocked by how she acted, or rather didn't act. Just an insane response to the situation. I was so upset and walked away to the chairs to make calls for other hotels (again, it was midnight). I just wish people could imagine themselves in the situation. I don't think she would have appreciated getting the response she gave to us. Also, there was a group of guys in the lobby waiting as well and they said they walked in their room and it hadn't been cleaned at all. They were waiting before we got there and when we left 45 minutes later they were still waiting. This place clearly needs a major overhaul on service.

"Best Stay on a 2 week trip - 8 motels"

Recent long motor trip that included stays at 8 pet friendly motels. This was the best. Nice large, clean room with all the amenities. Beds were comfortable. Breakfasts above average. Service was excellent. The grounds were large and nice for walking our dog. The room was convenient to the cedar point park. Only disadvantage was the drive from the highway, but the place was worth the circuitous route from our GPS. We would make it a point to stay here again if in Sandusky

"Dirty and Poor Service, Not Maintained and Not Worth your Time!"

The good reviews must all be much older, because this place is a dump. The floor in my room was filthy, the chair broken and belonged in a dumpster, and the shower not reasonably cleaned. Attempted to move rooms, but the daytime front desk staff claimed there was nothing available. I pulled up the hotel's website on my phone, which clearly showed rooms available, and was told that was an error. The woman manning the front desk during the day was unpleasant, and I suspect she lied to me without checking so as not to be bothered. The problems extend beyond the guest rooms, with the overall property not well maintained. The men's bathroom on the ground floor doesn't have a functioning lock. While the location is great, it's not worth putting up with the unkempt property and poor service.

Horrible Stay. The air conditioner was so loud you couldn’t even hear the TV. The air was covered in dust in cobwebs too. The floor had dirt all over it. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

"Summer road trip"

Me and my family had a great time. We visited the cedar point waterpark and the amusement park very close to drive to. I was disappointed with a stain on our bed when we arrived, but they quickly brought a new one. Also, there was an incident that happened at the ice cream social with the person handing out the ice cream, but we were later told that he has a mental disability. Other than that the elongated, breakfast and late check out or great add-ons
