"Waikoloa Beach Adventure on the Big Island!"

My family and I spent 4 nights on our Hawaiian adventure at the Hilton Waikoloa Beach Resort. Our ocean view room in the Palace Tower was very nice. The beds and pillows were excellent as was the shower and tub. We had a very nice view from our balcony. The property was absolutely gorgeous. While the shuttle boat was out of service and the tram was a bit unreliable, we didn’t miss either. It was a pleasure to walk through the museum walk between buildings. Walking around the property on the paths was one of our favorite things to do. Buddha Point at sunrise is a really great place to be. The breakfast at Waters Edge was excellent and Nui Italian was also quite good. We very much enjoyed swimming and sunning at the lagoon. There is laundry in the basement of the Ocean Tower which is nice. The Luau was a great time, too. We really enjoyed our stay. The place is great.

Customer service was not friendly and took a long time for luggage to arrive. Breakfast was so hyped up but no service there. Coffee was cold and they just offer black coffee.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. This was my first time on the Big Island. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed—they were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. I believe Chantel(?) checked me in and she was friendly and gave a great Aloha welcome. The service was consistently top notch throughout my stay. I actually ran into the GM and I can see its starts at the top! The amenities were just as impressive. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the pool area was beautifully maintained. Even small details, like the quality of the toiletries and the ease of check in, showed how much care goes into the guest experience. If your there you will want to see the Legends of Hawaii Luau! It offered great food and drinks with a entertaining Hawaiian experience. (dancing, history, comedy) I left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone who values great service and a well run hotel. Hawaii is truly a wonderful island and the Hilton Waikoloa Village is the perfect hotel to stay at.

We are here for 10 days, just checked in late Friday night. Tammy checked us in, very nice and helpful. While this is our 3rd visit, I would agree that this resort is not for everyone. Do your research first so you won’t be disappointed. It’s a beautiful clean resort.

"Family vacation 8/10"

We stayed for six days at the Hilton with our family of five including three boys ages 9. 12 and 14. One of the reasons why we booked with the Hilton is that they had family suites and that was one of the highlights of the trip The suite included a kitchenette, a dishwasher and refrigerator as well as a washer and dryer, a game changer on a swimming vacation. The grounds are vast atthis location. We walked over 12,000 steps every single day, partly because we’re in close proximity to both queen and king marketplace, which have shops dining. There are many pools and waterslides for kids to enjoy at the Hilton however you should know that the Hilton does not heat the poolsso they are weather cold. There are food and drink drinks abundantly for purchase as well as in the lagoon which our children thoroughly enjoyed. There are paddle boards water sports that you can rent for either hour or day. We went to Hapuna Bay one day and rented boogie boards for just $13 from Bob’s at the Queen’s market. The hotel itself is perfect for families because it isn’t pristine, there is visible wear and tear in the rooms on the furniture, which made me feel right at home since I have a three boy family. Check-in was just fine. They did not let us check in early which makes sense. I think there’s about 10,000 rooms here and I can’t imagine trying to manage that check out was also easy where we put our bags at the front desk and continued to the pool until time to go. I was working from the business center many days while we were here and it was a perfectly acceptable place to get work done. All in all I would definitely return here with my family, my only recommendation to the resort would be that they have some more stuff and fix things that are broken like a few of the Waterslides. My children were slightly disappointed that the tram almost never worked, and there was not a single time that the boat transportation was available to our family, the only other thing that I want to make sure people know is that there are roaches very few, but still, there were some roaches in our room, which I thought was disgusting, but also understandable in a tropical place
