"Disappointed in the lack of cleanliness at a Hilton"

I make it a point to spend the extra money to stay at better Hilton brands. Especially, in airport areas where the wear and tear occurs quickly. I spend this extra money as I prefer to check in to a room where there is no indication that someone was there prior to me. My recent visit to the STL Hilton checked off the 'extra money' box, but not much else. The front desk staff was fine. The bar staff were fine. Parking was a bit wonky as construction was occurring on property. I get that. It is fine. All of the above said, the room showed the wear and effects of many a previous guest. Photos attached speak greater than words. I was disappointed.

"The Most Amazing Staff Ever"

There is a reason why we are loyal Hilton Honors members. Currently on our 3rd Hilton property in the 2 weeks. As an active duty military family living overseas, we have been traveling back and forth from Italy to see my husband's mother who ultimately passed away. My husband just got off a plane after 20 hours of travel. He mistakenly looked at the wrong confirmation email and hopped the airport shuttle bus to the wrong Hilton property. After speaking to the front desk where I was located, they offered to go pick him up as I dont see well to drive after dark. This is not the first time the Hilton St. Louis Airport staff has gone above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect when travel plans don't go as planned. The staff and dedication to service should serve as an example to hotels everywhere. Please extend our warmest gratitude to Oscar for rescuing my husband.

"Parking rate beware."

Standard Hilton for the rate. Beware the additional parking fee that is not advertised in the rate. The real rate per night is 16 dollars more. I get that they have long term parking that they service for the airport, but if you are actually staying at the hotel this fee should be included in the actual rate. There is no waive of the fee if you are staying there even if you an honors member. Hotel is also under renovation at this time. Room was fine, and what you expect for an older hotel.

"The worst!!!!"

By far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.. what kind of hotel charges for breakfast 😳 22 dollars at that EACH PERSON!! .. pay for parking $16!!! Absolutely disappointed at this! Then there was a dog barking for 2 hours straight waking up everyone 730-930 Front desk staff rude.. no greetings coming in the door:. Honestly if I would have known all this I would have never booked here.. y’all need to be ashamed 😢

"Not clean"

There should be signs to tell you where to go because the front parking lots were all blocked off. The lobby was nice and looked clean, the staff was very nice, but the room was horrible. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and the wall was warped, and there was still trash in the trash can from the previous person! Gross. The room was hot - we had to ask the front desk to bring a fan, the maintenance man came and had to fix the AC (he was nice) and he brought the fan. We could hear the person next door very well too. I wouldn’t stay here again it was gross. There is a lot of renovations happening it looks like but other than that it isn’t good
