"Not a quality hotel"

The hotel is not really somewhere anyone should stay in its current condition. I was moved from the first room that was 90 degrees to another that was 80 degrees and the last was stuck at 77. It was way to hot. There is no restaurant/bar or even vending machine. There is nothing walkable so you are left to pay $20 each way to American Dream to eat. It needs serious upgrading. The staff were very pleasant.

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to sleep inside a rotisserie chicken, look no further than Room 706 at this fine establishment. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm hug… from the air itself. The heat was cranked so high I’m pretty sure my eyelashes started to curl on their own. Within 10 minutes, I had invented 3 new sweat glands and entered a spiritual journey I did NOT sign up for. I called the front desk to let them know the heat was stuck on, and they cheerfully suggested I “open the window.” Great idea—except the window only opens approximately the width of a Pringle. Meanwhile the thermostat remained strictly decorative, like a museum exhibit titled “Ancient Technology: Do Not Touch.” The bright side? • I didn’t need the gym. I lost 4 lbs just by existing. • My pores are now cleaner than my conscience. • I saved money on a spa day because I basically slept in a steam room. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to boil yourself alive or simulate summer in Florida during January, this is the hotel for you. As for me, I’m off to buy ice cubes and rethink my life choices.

"An unforgettable Nightmare experience!"

I was recently an exhibitor at a conference at this hotel. This hotel is by far the worst I've experienced as a business guest. The desk personnel could not care less about the issues at the hotel. I was assured that someone would come and fix some things, but no ever arrived. The rooms were dirty, some did not have workable showers or room phones that functioned. I could not call the desk if I needed to. There was no bell person to help with my exhibiting bags or luggage. I was told by the desk to manage it myself. I asked for someone to hook up a new phone, but no one responded. My room was very cold, but other attendee's rooms were 85 degrees with no ability to regulate the temperatures. The hotel is closing soon and it was clear they had already checked out as far as providing any customer service. Their website says " you will have an unforgettable experience." What they didn't mention was it was a nightmare experience!

I attended some seminars here and the conference areas were comfortable. The food and beverages were more and better than acceptable. It's strategically located across from Met Life Stadium and the American Dream mall.
