"Good hotel, good cocktails and beautiful beach!"

The rooms are good, we had a beautiful ocean view on the 10th floor, as the rooms at the end of the building so you have a real ocean view. The pool is good, there was a life singer who was pretty good. There are some renovation ongoing, but we did not eat anything from our room so was ok! You do not have choisie than paying the parking of the hotel which is quite expensive… should be included…not cool to have to pay the parking on the top of a already quite expensive price… We did not take the breakfast The cocktails are really good! And nice to have cocktails done directly on the beach! The restaurant is nice with the terrace and the club sandwich was really good

"Not relaxing"

We left land locked Colorado for a beautiful beach vacay and ended up with a noisy nightmare. They are doing some sort of construction/renovation that sounds like a jack hammer and starts promptly at 9am every day. You can’t even hear the music at the pool over the noise. Want a nap in the room after a beach day? Jack hammer. Want to sleep past 9am? Jack hammer. Want to feel truly relaxed? Jack hammer. Ugh. Ok how about some yummy food instead. Nope, only if you like watery cheese nachos and avocado toast that could chip a tooth. While I will definitely return to Marco Island, I will never return to the Hilton. They offered us a $50 credit every day for the “inconvenience” but that didn’t make a difference in terms of how expensive the room was and how crappy the week was. There are lots of places to stay on the island and this is not it.

"Thin Walls"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

The good: Room was nice, pretty basic but relatively clean. Not a huge property so easy to get around, pool area, bar and beach are all pretty close together. The bar tenders were great. We mostly dealt with BC and Ana who were fantastic. Did the breakfast buffet and the gentlemen making the omelets was very personable and professional. All in all everyone who works at the resort was very nice. The questionable: My room was advertised as ocean view. I guess if you can see the ocean through a building Hilton calls that ocean view. So it may not be worth it to request an ocean view at this resort as you may be disappointed. They do have ocean view rooms, most of them would also face the pool area, food for thought. The bad: The walls are thin. You hear everything going on outside of your room. Now I am not sure if I was hearing people in other rooms, definitely the hall way and I could also hear the elevator every time it moved.

After a long day of traveling with a 5.5 hour flight delay, we were greeted by Roslyn at the front gate. She welcomed us with a big smile and some friendly words. She IS the face of the Hilton. What a great employee! She should be commended for a job well done

"Quick getaway"

Me and my wife just got back from a 5-day getaway. We love Marco island and love this Hilton. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The 2 room king suite was amazing and will book this room again. The beach is great and this hotel is conveniently located across a plaza of really great restaurants. We really do love it here and I will say, it’s a laid back destination and a beautiful one at that! Now, as avid travelers, there are some areas that need some attention to become that next level resort, not just a good resort. The beach loungers need updated. They are worn and lost their luster comparing to the JW Marriott’s loungers. I would go with same color scheme as pool loungers and umbrellas. The pool/beach towels need upgraded as well. There are two different types of towels with different level of feel, comfort, and size. Some feel really cheap and it looks it. Again, these are small knit picky items, but this makes a huge difference to be luxurious while paying $40 per day resort fee. The room was amazing but needs a bit refreshed. It stated newly renovated but I’m not sure it wasn’t renovated within 10 years—I could be wrong. The grout needs cleaned or replaced, small stains on area rug in bedroom, and two cushions had small puncture areas. The outlets and USB ports need replaced due to obvious usage and loosely fits. Again, just refreshing for next level comfort and look. Housekeeping was okay but didn’t come one day. Mostly replaced towels and emptied garbage but an empty pizza box was left on dining room table and not wiped down. They are currently repainting exterior building plus balconies which is much needed and looks great on the one side. All in all, we love Marco and this resort. We always have a great time here and the hospitality is always great, but to get to next level some attention to detail is needed.
